OMG, I just did my first grey hair coverage using Red Raj and your Indigo and wow! I can't believe how great the coverage is and how beautiful my hair came out. I tried another brand previously that I'd bought on Amazon, mountain something or other, that was designed for covering greys. This was so superior. I actually may have gone a little too dark, even though I only washed it out once! In contrast the other one gave me more red highlights (the greys) but didn't really bring the greys all the way into brown/black range. I did something of a combo of the method you demonstrate on your channel. You say 2 hrs with heat or 4 without for each product. I did 2 hrs with heat with just 3 parts henna and 1 part indigo (plus 1 Tbs of amla and aloe vera). After 2 hrs I combed the most obvious and densely grey region with a fine tooth comb to scrape off any henna sitting on top of the hair, then applied pure indigo over my entire head. Did another 2 hrs with a heat cap with both products on, then cleansed with a cowash and followed with a leave in conditioner. Perfect coverage and very soft, moist hair. This is definitely going to be my every 6 week routine. I mixed the Red Raj at about 8:30am and started the real 'wash day' 3 hrs later at 11:30 and was completely done by 5pm, including styling. Most of the time was just doing stuff online while I allowed the products to work their way into my strands, so really it felt like an hour here, and hour there, and done. I'm amazed at the quality of these results given the inexpensive cost and small commitment of time needed. I feel like shouting it from the rooftops. I can't wait to go somewhere and show off my new hair.

Thank you for the detailed description of your henna application!! I never thought to add the indigo on top of the henna after it has been sitting for two hours. Definitely trying this method now!!

I love all of them but Iove taking the Jamila powder and mixing it with my homemade hibiscus tea. I take dried hibiscus petals and brew them. Then after it cools I will mix my henna with it. It gives such rich red tones and is very vibrant too. When the light hits it it's really pretty.

I’ve only tried Red Raj and the Moroccan henna so far and love them both! I’d love to try the Jamila since it has more orange tones. I’m also SO excited for the January hair challenge! I haven’t been able to participate in any of the challenges yet but I’m planning ahead for this one!!

I just found your channel and world opens up for me❤. What i cant find is if your hair is dyed once with copper level 7 and you want orange ginger color.. does henna does this to my hair or is it getting darker? Would i use color remover first or just start to put henna on roots only and let the length fade out? Really hope i find the answer here.

Hello. This depends on what color you'd like to achieve. If you like darker tones, then 2 step is required. We have a complete guide that you can follow here to help you in the process of coloring your hair: hennasooq.com/blogs/frontpage/complete-guide-how-to-color-your-hair-with-henna-and-indigo/. We hope this helps!

Hi! I'm no longer purple, I've been natural (redhead) for a couple of years, and have been using henna to boost the vibrancy of my natural color. I really want to go back to purple, and I could do overtone, but I'm an hebalist... so mixing my own herbs is my jam. Been doing some research and it seems like if I add indigo and use beer instead of water, I can get a dark purple. Does anyone know if this accurate, and if so would you mind pointing me to a recipe?

@HennaSooq Thank you! No worries. I'm not finding enough information on it to feel safe trying. Do you know of another way to reach a purple, not maroon? If not, I still love my natural + henna. Again, thank you for replying! 😊
