Saw one in my AD's window, went in, put in on my wrist, went under natural light, bought it. Have had it for about 2 months now and could not be happier. 500€ well spent!

As a watch guy who owns a Rolex and a Tudor, I can say Seiko just hits it on the head almost every time. Occasionally a model has a crap bracelet or funky little problems, but all and all they’re a knockout. For under $1,000 you just can’t beat it

As a guy who used to own a Rolex Datejust and handled several Rolexes I think they are over priced…just the fact that the prices are now inflated is indicative that the value of Rolex is not equivalent to the price…the Rolex doesn’t become a better watch just because the market gave it a higher appreciation…

I own all three including the new Sea Dweller (for comparison) and this is my currently my favourite daily watch, i love it.

I just bought the green one and couldn’t be happier. Cracking watch.

Awesome watch!!

A turtle user for a little over 3 years. Turtle has the most comfortable case ever in any timepiece, it sits snugly on my wrists, the back of the case basically digs itself into the wrists(in a good way) which hides at least 30% of its height. I appreciate all the upgrades on the Turtle but I'd have loved to see an improved bezel action on par with Tudor and a better day-date movement inside the turtle case, I don't baby my turtle and it doesn't perform well enough for its accuracy occasionally. I adjust the time of my timepiece at least twice a week as I find it running at about 5-10 min error. I should probably get it checked with a watchmaker.

JDM means Japanese version. I have one recently and the QC is pretty good. The green dial and the strap of King turtle are the mixture of green and grey like Military 🪖 color, it's not too brightly and suits some connotation people.

I've just noticed your website and your channel and I'm loving it. I'm saving and selling my watches just to get a King Turtle 2021 Padi edition, it will be my first Seiko. Thanks for your info and thoughts.

This Seiko has definitely a royal Oak aspirations to it, as a matter of fact that's exactly what popped up in my mind before I ran into your review so you are right on that! It is by fare the best king turtle review I've seen on KZread. I am myself an owner of the Seiko SRPF13K1 I have had this watch for about 4 years now and it has been running like a beast ever since. I will soon likely add the very same king Turtle to my collection. I think The green one is the way to go! cheers and thanks!

Thanks a lot for the kind feedback! I am still rocking this very watch way too often. I’d still go for the green one, highly recommend it. If they ever release one with a loud orange dial I’d also be going for that hah. Very fun and capabel watch. It looks good on the bracelet as well by the way, the green just doesn’t come standard on one. Many thanks again!

Which one in your opinion is going to be the 1 most collectors will go after. Now it seems the Green is the one that is hot but will it be in the future.

The point of the long strap is to fit your wrist when you're not wearing a wetsuit and to fit over your sleeve when you are wearing a wetsuit.

I just recently picked up the SRPE39J1 Manta Ray turtle 🐢 and this watch is outstanding. I’ve had a Padi Turtle now for three years but these new King 🤴 Turtles are superior 👍🏻

If you can, try to see both in real life. Personally I went for green here as it was a dial color I did not have yet (plenty in black). But the black is absolutely a very nice choice as well. Honestly all the King Turtles are fantastic 🤠

The black goes with everything, including different bracelets and straps. The green looks odd with certain combinations.

I have this Seiko watch, it’s been back to Seiko twice under warranty for stopping, seem like an issue with the counterweight not turning with everyday wear. It’s going back, and they’ve agreed to replace the 4r36 movement.

Mine is 6.5” for reference. I would try it first, but don’t see an issue personally (the lug to lug should be no issue at all) - but matter of taste. This is a fairly large tool watch, so it looks large on most wrists. It is also a casual diver, so nothing wrong with it wearing large.

bezel insert is not ceramic only in SPRE 05J1 does!

I had worn G shocks my whole life till given a seiko monster by my wife for Xmas and it lasted 6 months these watches are jewelry for men they are not durable or tuff at all,my monster had to go back to seiko and have $200 worth of work done and while it was being prepared my wife bought me this watch which so far has held up well with me welding riding motorcycles and doing things maintaining our property ita such a shame as expensive as these watches are they can't compete with a $100 g shock

G shock great watch but cant stay with you throughout years....new seals, band cracks...and new batteries...get a dive watch and wear it forever and seiko turtle...u never have to take it off....dont wear that g shock with a suit son

@@williamstalvey6920 l find G watches very popular. Therefore they kinda look cheap even if you buy the expensive ones, Not trying to be an asshole. Now if you use an Aqualand, Turtle....they look very cool, expensive and unique in your wrist. Even if they aren’t so expensive like Breitling and others. Now if work in some sort of very dirty or harsh environment, G-shocks are sure best option. I think l will buy this turtle. Dive watchers are my thing. And this one really looks great. Just wondering if works nice and won’t need repairs throughout the years

Yeah I wore the casio g shock 6600 which was very popular, .after wearing for a few years the plastic cracked and had to deep six it....ss steel...it never cracks nor need batteries and new seals and can stay with you a lifetime.....trust me I've worn em all but they are just digital...a true mechanical dive watch is a piece that I can appreciate. A digital watch holds no value, it's just a cheap piece of plastic

I just bought a turtle and got the strapcode Rollball band....its the newer turtle cause I have Seiko 6309 and 6105....really like the Seiko Turtle I do like the olive drab g shock...g 700 cause its 18 mm....but my thing is mechanical automatics

@@williamstalvey6920 true! Also they fit every situation. Diner, club, traveling or just trolling at the mall. Indeed they look great. Thinking of that, they also worth every penny. Just other day me and my wife was looking some watches and she asked me about the G-shoks if there any that l would like to buy. I took some time to see them...and didn’t find anything that really sparked my heart. At the end of the day is just like you say...they are just some cheap piece of plastic. Actually not so cheap, there are quite a few that are kind expensive considering they aren’t unique.

Complaining about too long rubber strap on a diver watch or call it a problem is simply so stupid from non diver persons. Imagine how would the watch fit 18,5cm (7,5") wrist with 7,5mm thick neoprene sleeve. I would compare such stupidity to calling sharpness of a knive a problem because I'm town sissy who buys knives to put them in a glossy showcase cabinet and I'm scared of getting cut.

Way overboard on the editing, bro. It calls way too much attention to itself.
