I have been watching your videos recently, and it has inspired me to start practicing scouting. Today, we were losing in a 2k+ elo faceit match, and I ended up buying a scout because "why the fuck not", and just started popping off and dropped a 30 with it and came back. Now I understand why you use the scout so much. Thanks for helping me find new fun ways to play this game :)

Legendary status right here. This is what practice, long hours and dedication to using the same weapon gets you. Honestly remarkable how you manage to maintain consistency and pull off some of the nuttiest flicks that I rarely ever get to see even in the pro matches. You definitely deserve to be "scouted" and put on a team to further develop your skills. This kind of talent should never have to go to waste on strictly pubbing only. Well done Shay! S1mple vs Scouter at scout who you got your bets on?

How well do you think a dedicated scout player could work in place of an AWPer in the pro scene? The impact on the economy (especially on CT side) could grant more freedom for the team to have better buys more often, and the movement speed would help on T side and during retakes. There was a time a few years ago where ChrisJ spent quite a few buy rounds scouting with great success, but I wonder about the current scene.

Scout is kinda useless in the pro scene. Everyone is so cracked with deagles that the scout is almost unusable. Dust 2 is an exception due to the long range gunfights

@@weavercs4014 He uploaded a video a few months ago (titled "Scouter VS oSee & JT") where he was pretty successful on T side Inferno. I know you can't directly compare a Faceit PUG to an actual pro game against players who might be able to anti-strat the scout, but the movement speed there was obviously pretty useful. Also, in a pro team with good utility damage it would put more opponents down into the one bodyshot range for the Scout, so it would become more like an AWP in terms of effectiveness in more late round situations.

@@amp888 okay I'll say it this way. Pros don't try in pugs and Scouter is a bad cs player. He's the best scouter in the world but he's not a good player. A scout would get killed instantly every time against a real CT inferno side
