These straps look amazing. The gray on the Bulova is perfect and really pops watch face...nice.
I got the silver one. It’s stiff but comfortable to wear. It’s got a nice shine to it. I’ll probably end up buying the blue one too. I paid $22 for mine. The strap cost more than my watch 😂
Dave- Thank you for showcasing these! I too have the Lunar Pilot and am always on the hunt for a strap for it and thanks to you showcasing the gray one on your Lunar Pilot, I too went for the gray Ritchie! I also ordered a 20mm Artem for it, thank to your previous video as well! Right now, I'm rocking the Lunar Pilot on a WatchGecko shark mesh (in satin) which gives it a retro Astronaut vibe. If you check any old photos of the Apollo Astronauts training back in the 1960s in the American Southwest you'll notice most of them wearing their Speedmasters on a jubilee or a sharkmesh- makes it really comfortable in the dessert environment. Thanks for what you do and the great videos!
Love Ritche straps, I have a shipment on the way and can't wait to receive them!
Very nice range .I've bought a couple of sailcloth straps recently and the cheaper ones are super stiff as you say.but do look great .I'l look out for these Ritchie straps now.
Another great video brother, love the 80’s music, good vibes! These look great for the $!

Thanks Miguel!
The grey looks great on your Lunar Pilot
Great review Dave nice straps at very reasonable prices
I have a few of these. They're very nice. I like Ritche's silicone as well.
All three of those watches looked amazing
I love sailcloth and Artem is my pick. Check out Brady Straps, the are priced at around $US40. For a little more than $US20, MKS puts out some very nice straps. None of these companies ruin the sailcloth with a cheap leather backing.
Hey Dave, could you test a bunch of AliExpress canvas/nylon straps and compare them to those from the name brands? They are rather cheap synthetic materials and I always thought they tend to hold up very well even though they are very inexpensive. I'd give you some links, but KZread tends to auto remove such comments.

That's not a bad idea!
I recently got a Barton sailcloth strap. Really awesome alternative to a nato, honestly way better in my opinion!
Ritchie rubbers are awesome too
Do you have a review for leather straps?
Hey Dave! I just picked up a new Citizen and bought one of these straps on Amazon. Listing says 18cm long. Just over 7 inches. The watch is around 48mm lug to lug. Do you think after installing it will fit my roughly 8 inch wrist? Thanks for the reviews!
How is the LOOP held together? A lot of straps of this type has loops with an annoyingly sharp edge irritating the skin - especially the sensitive skin on the underside / inside of the arm / wrist.

So far I haven't had any problems with construction or even fraying. Just a little bit of discomfort.
Leather-backed straps never last long on my sweathog wrists.
Missing classic black with white stitching.
How quickly does the leather type backing break down on sailcloth straps? I've always thought these looked very summery, but have worried that the leather will just become a mess.

So far it seems like it'll hold up as well as any normal leather strap. As with all leather backed straps it's not going to do well with activities that result in a lot of sweat.

@@JusttheWatch thanks! Great review like always!
Dave. What's the piece of music at the end of your videos? I like it!
Rubber is more expensive than leather?
no Ritchie love for those with 9 inch wrists
I had a sailcloth strap on a citizen which started to smell, badly. Not sure if that is common to the material (did hear others regarding the same strap). I ended up putting a nato on it. Anyone else have this experience?

@@johnnyboy1586 i'd say go for it, they aren't expensive. changes the look a lot. got several where i replaced rubberstraps which i hate and use natos. they start from like 15 euros or so
As ever a great review...if anything can you talk a little slower...I'm in the UK and sometimes struggle to catch everything you say...
You get what you pay for and that cheap leather backing ruined the idea of what is a sailcloth strap. Stick with Artem if you want quality that lasts.

@marceldupin, I agree. They simply ruined the purpose of the strap.
I will pass on these. They are cheaply made. I have to admit that Artem is quality and value. The price is more than fair.

I totally agree with you. Artem is the best.

@mickdelaney, I also agree. Who ever heard of a cheap leather back on a strap that has been designed for getting wet????

Agree that Artem is amazing, but they refuse to make a gray version.
No one makes sail lots straps in a long length. All are to short.
Shame they use leather. Veggie since 1982 so a pass from me. Cheers Dave 👍🏻
Just don't buy their canvas straps All canvas straps die in a year
