trying your settings out now big boy you better not let me down.

4:57 it actually makes a huge difference on lower end gpus. If you have it maxed out on low end gpu your game will non stop stutter and run like shit

Because it helps prevent the glitch where shadows start to flicker when moving.

Has anyone else's RUST been running somewhat crappy after the last update? I have an RTX 3070 FTW Edition/i7-12700KF/Liquid Cooled AIO/1TB M.2 and 16GB RAM. I get easily 120+ fps 90% of the time, but out of nowhere the game will just drop down to like 66 fps for like 5 minutes randomly, then just go back to normal. RUST never did this prior to the update for me. Then, the PING will go from 40 whatever to an INSANE 2k for like 1-2 min then back to normal. Again, something RUST never did before. Anybody else experiencing poor performance occasionally?

You should really use 7.1 surround sound if you've got it. Idk why youre playing with stereo, using surround lets u know where enemies are coming from and such

Wrong. Pretty much all headsets have surround sound built in so this is pretty much unnecessary unless you have a headset that dosent. I have played 7k hours of rust on stereo and have had no trouble hearing enemies/directional sound.

It’s all personal preference, I would probably think your sens and dpi was wack as I wouldn’t be used to it.

His DPI could be higher than yours lmao. Sensitivity settings on any game is your preference. If you take it straight from a video thinking your aim will be as great as the persons in the video- you're wrong. It's all about what you're comfortable with.
