@@madman6022 yea they definitely patched one of the settings, im sure you can still get your game to look better at night, but it literally used to be free kills if you were using the OP filter and someone else wasnt.

honestly im not sure, it sounds dumb but maybe reinstall geforce experience and verify your rust game files.

my best bet is reinstalling nvidia drivers

go to nvidia control panel -> 3d settings -> screenshot all of your current settings (under global settings) -> hit restore default -> change your settings back to how they were ->see if it fixed. worked for me
says Rust is not compatible with game filters, wtf nvidia?

rust disabled filters because some people were doing wacky stuff with them to practically have night vision
it says rust isnt suupported
