The BEST RESORT We've Ever Stayed At! Treeland Resorts

For our annual fishing trip this year, we decided on Treeland Resorts (The Original) in Hayward, Wisconsin. Located about 15 miles outside of Hayward, the resort provides all the comforts of home and then some. Before we went, I called the Hayward Chamber of Commerce and Hayward Bait & Bottle for recommendations, both thought Treeland would be the right fit for us. I can't say enough good things about this resort and the people that own it, run it, and work there. TOP NOTCH!
If you want to go, plan ahead, way ahead, and don't forget to try their pizza if you're lucky enough to get a reservation.
When we plan, we have to include a boat, so a lodge or resort with great fishing rigs is a prime find. Treeland offers Alumacraft boats and all of them are equipped with console steering, 3 swivel seats, Helix 5 or 7 Locator-GPS with Lakemaster chip, Minn Kota Powerdrive bow mounted trolling motor with separate battery & onboard charger, aerated live well, two anchors, bilge pump, throwable cushions & life vests. Everything on our boat worked flawlessly.
If you’re looking for extra space & storage, their 16′ 90HP and 18′ 115HP are 6″ wider, have a 12 rod storage capacity, an upgraded Helix 7 Locator-GPS (with downward imaging & sonar), as well as the Lakemaster chip.
This looks like a fabulous place for a family vacation too. All resort amenities are available at no additional charge to you. They include, but are not limited to: your own personal dock with power, in-ground heated swimming pool, swimming beach, large children’s ADA playground, basketball, pickleball and tennis courts, shuffle board, sand volleyball, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, and paddle boards.

You got to fish those windy days. It’s called a “walleye chop”. It is a tough lake. Good Muskie population. Good smallness also. Walleyes are tough to find but they’re there
