LiveDevil was OKish. It didn't nothing to me. But Trust Last....started like OK but it grew a lot with me.

"why did the coolest song have to come out of Kamen Rider Saber" Because Saber is actually a good show in its own right and most only refuse to check it out because it was done by the Ghost writer. And even then, Fukuda actually wrote many of the best episodes of the show.

Fukuda isn't a bad writer, he's just never made to write for a year long series. Give him a movie or a Miniseries, he'll make some of the best you can see, but give him a year long series where a Producer keeps dragging him away mid season to work on a movie, and yeah it wouldn't be great.

You are genuinely the first person I know who thought livedevil was bad. Everyone in my friend group thought it was a bop, and my first thought when I heard it was "Wow, this is instantly the best Kamen Rider song of all time. I don't know how they managed to create a song nobody could dislike." Funnily enough, I think Almighty is trash. I do agree about Trust Last though, but it's grown on me.

@@mkdemigodzillawarrior I’ll admit I wasn’t into trust last at first, but after a few listens, to me it’s a certified banger. It’s a Rock song that uses modern Edm and Trap production. I’ll admit it’s not for everyone though, but nothing ever is.

Regardless of time period, genre, or whatever else, Rider music slaps. Mirage Mirror, and Rewrite the story are my personal favorites. Over again as well if that counts Edit: Imma throw in Without you(the Dear Gaga version) because that song made me ball my eyes out more than ever *as an adult*

Zero-One is banger because it did something with its music that I was missing in recent rider. Not only did it actually use its insert songs with some regularity (unlike Revice) but those insert songs share a common melody. You can TELL when something is a Zero-One insert. It creates an image in your mind. It reminds me of early Heisei Phase 2, when they were making themes for all the forms. As someone whose first shows I finished were W and OOO, these songs give each form an Impact. I’m far more attached to any of OOO’s combos than I am to any Revice Genome for this reason.

The amount of hype Rewrite the Story generates when played is so unnecessary yet you can't live without it. It's like a drug

For me personally, my favorite reiwa song would be my dream from Kamen Rider Revice and it’s spin-off. Yeah it might be a little cheesy, but I love how un-ironically lovey dovey it is. I also like how it shows us Yukimi’s desire to not only protect Genta, but the life they have built together. And when the version of it was playing during the Destream vs Vail fight scene, it also represents Genta’s desire to finally let go of his past and to move on for the sake of his family

REALxEYEZ will always be my favorite Reiwa songs of all time. J x Takanori Nishikawa is an match made in Heaven. When you combine J’s low notes with Takanori’s higher and hardcore rock vocals really give an incredible balance. And in my opinion gained it a legendary status in the franchise. I remember when it first came out, I was crying tears of joy cuz my dream came true of hearing my favorite singer of all time Takanori Nishikawa finally sing for Kamen Rider. While I agree the #1 on this list is a banger, REALxEYEZ will always be my go to fave forever☺️💞💞💞

It's ironic that Marcos number 1(1/2) is the most disliked opening by majority of people meanwhile Marcos two least favourite in honourable mention is the one that got most people twerking unironically and uncontrollably

For me, Almighty will always be my top 1 for Reiwa era. It has such chill, fun vibes with that brass and trumpet but still got that healing and motivating soul in it. When you have a bad day, this song just helps you get back up. I don't speak Japanese, but just that English line in the chorus makes this song perfect for me. I think the song does not suit the whole cool and punchy Kamen Rider concept, but it really suits Kamen Rider Saber. It just feels different.

I never saw Rewrite the Story as the insert song for Xross Saber, I personally believe that its the insert song of the Main Rider Trio together

Really impressed on the editing though! Was a lot of fun to watch.

I loved The Rider System Song . Not just for naming all the rider from Shows To Heisei but I love how he described each Era . The Originator , the rider that are destined to fight Shocker , The Golden Age , Dangerous Lineup ( which damn Heisei definitely got some amazing Line up ) , justice Evolution, and then the best pun Rei-wanderful . Also Give this new Era a try and everything about it is so cool to me

The first reason that pulled me from the thought of not watching saber is the freaking song. After all the negatives comments people said about the show, one day the opening AMV just poped up on my recommendation list and yeh, the journey starts there. All the songs rocks and I TOTALLY agree that "Rewrite the story" is the whole damn vibe. Man that song hits harddddddddd.

I mean to be fair, we didn’t get the full version of the Geats opening so maybe the full version is better than the TV size? But yeah from what we heard of the Geats opening, it is a bit weird as an opening. Also, come on! Live Devil isn’t that bad of an opening. Oh and personally, I like the insert them for Invincible Jeanne, though it’s mostly because I love Lovekov and find it funny to see Lovekov dance from what we got of the music video.

Correctly loves Rewrite The Story. Hates Trust/Last. What!? Trust/Last brought back a darker tone to Rider themes I can't recall since frickin Decade. That (along with Tom and Michael having a big role in the early eps) did a lot to bring me into the show's world.

Shoutout to taju rokou. Saber got some amazing songs but this one really sticks in my mind

i really like/ love kamen rider saber but almighty and all of its music is beautiful but almighty takes the cake as the trumpet and brass instruments come in so powerfully at the beginning and then it dips when it says "masking the hidden tears." for it to go to 100 when it goes "ALMIGHTY Written in the book, hold onto wisdom and courage ALMIGHTY Believe towards the moving future" the lyrics may be cheesy but they have such a good message in a way and i love it. also i love live devil and trust last but i dont think we can change marcos mind on that.

I think the part that kind of rattled me was he says that trust last sucked even though it's a song that still hasn't gotten the full version out yet so hes judging a portion of a song rather than a whole song

I agree with your picks for Zero-One and Saber, they have some really good songs. "REALxEYEZ" and "Rising Sun" are my personal favorites from Zero-One and I like the other inserts like "Find a New Life" and "Now is the right time". I have a few issues with "Almighty" but the ending theme, "SPARK", and "Rewrite the Story" are all phenomenal. I actually really like "liveDevil" and "Volcano" is one of the few Revice songs where I don't hate Vice in it (as opposed to his inclusion in "Dance Dance" which genuinely brings the song down for me). Promise is beautiful and other inserts like "Cherryish" and "Mirage Mirror" are great too. "Trust Last" grew on me after a while, not my favorite opening but it's decent. I hope Geats gets better songs in the future because for now only the instrumentals stand out. As for Fuuto PI and Black Sun, both of their songs slap so hard. I was surprised you didn't mention W-G-X since it's essentially W-B-X Part 2 (also this might be unrelated to the shows but "Over Again" from Memory of Heroez is a bop and it was released during the Reiwa Era so it counts).

The correct pronunciation of Da-iCE isn't exactly "The Ice" As a long time fan of Da-iCE, the correct pronunciation is "Dice" as in the rolling dice.

Fuuto PI TOTALLY counts. It's a Kamen Rider show and we count all the movies and stuff that aren't direct mainline series. So why not FuutoPI?

I really like the ending to one of the saber movies Taju Rroku. It's also by the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra and sung by the lead singer of Alexandros.

I think it might be more than that, maybe the animation quality was less then he expected. Maybe the sexual shots were too explicit and out of place for the story? Also any thoughts on “Last Trust”, i didn’t find it to be too offensive.

Wow, first person to hate on both LiveDevil and Trust - Last I've heard from. Lmao! I guess I get you, since given all the songs you've favored fit into a certain taste. Honestly, the best song for me out of the Reiwa era so far was Find a New Life for a battle theme, and then both LiveDevil and Trust - Last for openings. Almighty just... Failed to do it for me meanwhile and Real x Eyes is... Well, _complicated_ for me. I'll even be blunt and just say that while the vibes it had was very *in tune* (yes, I totally had to say that, so sue me XD) with the feel of the show, most of the songs for Saber have been quite forgettable for me overall compared to the other three seasons. In fact, Zero-One's OST has sold for me for just about most of the soundtracks while Geats' OST gives some decent vibes for keeping up with every moment on-screen.

I didn't watch saber so I can't put iron my list since I am not used to the series and it's song So here's my list 1.kimi wa sono mamade (it's might be decent for you but I love it it's bring tears on my eyes how ikki was saying goodbye to vice and I am a sucker f melidious and sad songs specially if it's freindship based cause I grew up with Arijit singh's musics) 2.mirage mirror (it's really coolest and how greatly wataru hyuuga potrayed both daiji and kagero with lyrics on duet version and it's the first kamen rider song to get addicted to me) 3. I peace (at first when I listen to this song I was like 'is it keiwa?' cause it's so cool and usually got addicted to it ) 4. tie between my dream (it's so sweet and so beautiful)and without you (I usually prefer the duet version over solo) 5. vulcane and vallykyre special bgm (forgot the name)

That's the thing with KR music. It's pretty much always got something. I might not like Saber, but TSS is literally one of my favourite bands. It's hard for me to say it's not great. I just like TM Revolution more, so Zero One felt like a more exciting soundtrack. Maybe a bit of a sympathy vote too given pandemic ruined that seasons flow.

My favorite Revice OST is Volcano by Kentaro Maeda and Subaru Kimura. It goes so hard!

I mean even things that you think objectively suck can have really great things. Case an point Lupat, the fight choreography (and keichiro) are one of the best exemples of its kind in the franchise.

What are issues people have with Fuuto PI? I thought it was great, I've heard a lot of people say it was great, and the only issue i've heard passed around was about the ecchi scenes.

My favorite from Reiwa are : - Mirage Mirror, it just slaps and I love the Daiji/Kagerou dynamic. - Zero-One × Zero-Two (from REAL×TIME), it's too DBZ to not be enjoyed - SPARK, I'm still struck on the hype for Superhero Senki

You know i agree that rewrite the story is one of the best insert song of all time, but while Revice sucks it's opening probably one of best song of all kamen rider and maybe it's because recency bias but Trust Last genuinely great song at least it's actually making you see the opening due to changing visual. Saber song probably the best collection in Reiwa era but LiveDevil and Trust last doesn't fall too short on them so i confused.
