Wonderful video. Thank you for sharing. I love how you can try all the tools and share the results. I don't have all the presses that you have, so if my project failed, I would blame myself or the material. Thanks so very much. Now I know which ones to even attempt to try out! TyTy Ty.

This is so helpful. Im new to this craft. I have Crgicut Easy press 3. Several videos ive reviewed have suggested Sisor easy puff. I appreciate your doing such a thorough comparison. I feel more confident. Iwant to make my granddaughter a shirt with the puff htv. Again thank you.

I have an HTVRONT auto press. I played around with it and got the Siser puff to work perfectly by removing the pad that came with it and putting in a wood cutting board. It worked perfectly!

Thank you! I'm not surprised that it was Siser that you found to be best and I am really glad to know about the difference in the presses. I usually use my easy presses when I do stuff for the kids because of the size and the PIA location of my 15x15 traditional press and I would have been very disappointed with the results.

Thank you for this test. You confirmed the same results I am getting. I tried HTVRont puff twice and couldn’t get it smooth with my easy press. Then it peeled after a few washes. I applied over a flocked HTV and same result as you stated-didn’t work. Thanks again for confirming it wasn’t just me😵💫

Yep! It is the Siser puff version!
Looks like sister for the win. Thank you for sharing. This was excellent as usual, I love following you. My question is, you use the cricut auto press I have the HTVront auto press do you think I get the same results? What I mean is the results were that was crinkled or with lines?
@AngieHolden

I have seen other people use it and also not get great results. I would say it would also be inconsistent.
Very helpful. Unfortunately, I listened AFTER I cut my puff project with the shiny side down. It weeded so easily. Thank goodness it was a simple cut. I am going to cautiously iron-on with the carrier sheet up and hope for the best in removing the carrier. Thank you!

Great video Angie! I am not familiar with some of those brands, but i know with Siser i've seen it where they press it twice, the second time without a carrier sheet for a few seconds to increase the puff. so you think the brands from amazon would benefit from doing that? thanks again for the great content!
@AngieHolden
4 ай бұрын
Actually tried it! Still like the Siser best!
Thanks. I have the HTVRont Autopress, did you try adding extra heat mats underneath to increase the pressure on your Autopress? I wish there was one-machine-fits-all! I may have to break down and get a traditional heat press to add to my machine arsenal.
@AngieHolden
4 ай бұрын
Any of the AutoPresses don't get much extra pressure with more mats. The benefit is that they apply the same pressure no matter what thickness your item is.
Thank you for this experiment!!! I have the auto press and it kept coming out “brainy looking” tried so many different temps and time and it kept coming out the same. Very frustrating. I think it’s time for a traditional heat press.

@@AngieHolden you are welcome honey
☺️ This is very gorgeous. I have a question please, how does it last with use over time? Does it flatten out and lose the puff? 😊
@AngieHolden
4 ай бұрын
I find that they do not really flatten out. The cracking is the most prevalent issue over time.
Can you show us how to do chenille patches please? Thanks

You would just press those premade ones according to the directions. I have instructions on using flock to make something similar here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aIuNytSMic2ac6Q.html
Have you tried on canvas totes? I’m having the darnest time getting my puff to puff on tote bags. Tried everything from heat settings to press time and different pressure. Works great on shirts but not tote bags I’m using
@AngieHolden
4 ай бұрын
It is probably the seams. They can hold the heat press off of your surface and REALLY mess with puff. Do you have a firm heat resistant mat you can put inside of the bag?
@Pretear521
4 ай бұрын
@@AngieHolden I did buy a heat resistant pillow to go in, I only tried it a few times, was frustrated by the time I decided to try using it 😆
@Skadivore

I think the reason is also that shirt jersey is stretchy and will adjust to the puff. Canvas is stiff because of the way it is woven and won’t move with the vinyl to puff.

Siser easy puff has limited colours here in Cananda. I could only find black and white at Michael's

Michaels does not carry much puff. You might look online for others that can ship to Canada.
Can we lay puff on top of glitter ? Or we just use the offset as the outline and the puff is inside?
@AngieHolden

Layering anything on glitter is tricky. It is hard to get it to stick.

What do you do with those puff shirts in the video that don’t turn out?
@AngieHolden

Any "oops" type of things in videos get donated if they are usable at all. These are probably something someone would wear so I would donate. If they are not something that someone would use, I would probably use the fabric as a rag.
Can you make a video for puff htv without a cutting machine??

What did you think of Cricut puff vinyl?
@AngieHolden
28 күн бұрын
Cricut does not have a puff HTV at this time.
so if the puff it ruff.........(no pun intended) it was left to press to long?
@AngieHolden
2 ай бұрын
If it is rough, it is not enough pressure most likely.
