Man, incredible to see such performance compared to day one. You really are learning about what can, and what can't penetrate you and where to shoot enemies more reliably. That defense with B was great. And you are correct. Once allies get the zones and positions, its just holding it at that point yet people just get overzealous and hungry for Kills. I usually do push when my team gets all the points, even though it’s not the smartest. I just like to go with the flow and I get stressed if I’m alone in war thunder

Jadgpanzer has the armor equivalent to a panther with the slope and the lower plate is just straight up thicker than Soviet 76 highest pen

SU 152 has a profile that is great on certain maps, like the Jagdpanzer.

As an advanced player, it's nice to see some new players get nice games and have fun in this game. I really like using logic to win fights, it's really something I think most players don't really pay attention to when getting good at wt

I have been watching your videos since the first one you made got into my recommended, and I can already tell you are going to do well.

Just a tip with 1:55, if your barrel or breech is damaged anywhere from darkish orange to red it will break AND misfire. You can use this to your advantage as well if you know you’ve damaged an enemy’s firing mechanisms Anyhow keep it up! Its been great seeing how much you’ve improved

I remember when I had a game in the Panzer IV/70 (V) on Abandoned town and I held a choke point leading to A and used some of the tactics you used. Got 6 kills. Love it and the Jagdpanzer IV

So hyped for you to try out the Panzer IV/70. Feels very similar to the Jagdpanzer IV but I feel the armor is even more reliable frontally, plus it uses the Panther cannon which you're already well familiar with.

Your gonna love the hetzer it’s paired with the the tank your using and its armour is even better

My favorite thing is when a guy at the bottom of the team in a 1.7 plane telling me to attack!

If you love this tank you will absolutely *love* the direct upgrade to this, the Pz IV/70, it has the same deadly armament as the Panthers while getting extra armor that makes its armor essentially the same as the panther hull, allowing it to be extremely survivable and deadly!

Fantastic video again, man! You've really gotten better! Could you ask the snail if you could play the KV-1B? It's a KV-1 in Germany with over 100mm of armor on the front and sides, and it sits at an absurd BR of 4.0. The thing is purely the definition of mental. Most things can't pen you if you angle, and then you angle the turret between firing. The stats page doesn't show the extra armor; you have to go to preview and click on armor to see the extra bits. However, you face things from the USSR with a cannon with not a lot of penetration, so you will have some difficulties, but you can very easily get 10+ kill games.

3 seconds in and I'm already choking from laughter 😂 I freaking love this thing. such good armour and, at least for me, I see lots of 3.7-4.7 games so mostly downtiered all the time makes it perform great imo. would like to throw out a recommendation for 4.7 russia whenever you get a chance to grind to that, I see lots of full downtiers and you've got great options to spawn at that br.

You're getting way better at Germany, I got 5 kills with the jadgpanzer in the first game and it was really fun for me, I'm looking forward to the day you get your first cold war tank(other than the M109G ) but enjoy 5.7-6.7 as much as you can before you do, anything and everything can pen you at that br

I saw your video of the Panther F and remembered a tip you might not know. You can angle the turret similar to the Tiger 1 and some shells that would penetrate the front of the turret wont go through.

Probably answered by now but I’ve found the Jadpanzer IV to be pretty well armoured at the front. It among the Jadtiger and Jadgtiger are the only casemates I hate to fight. Although the Jagdpanther may be more of a case of encountering the more skilled of the German mains. That being said this is experience form playing the M4 and T-34 so I imagine the more powerful guns can more easily rip through the armour.

“I find attacking more difficult than defending” this is why I leave if my team is winning a match.

I love this tank. Its fun to play and hard to kill

I like this tank but my favorite of those casemates is the jagdpanther g1

0:39 Russian guns at that BR generally lacks penetrating performance (like 80mm pen on the L/11 I think) but good angle performance while being very deadly once penning, they will struggle to go trough things like the m4a2 and the Jagdpanzer IV (among other more armored things)

I had the same expierience with the semevontrs, the hetzer and the StuG III G

I mean I like hiding behind low friendly tank destroyers but I keep my distance bc their gun can’t move all that much and they need to turn a lot usually, and I’d never touch another friendly tank, I hate it when people do it to me so I’ll never do it to someone else (unless they’re asking for it be constantly pushing me)

Been playing for a very long time and I'd personally say it's easier to attack then defend except in certain situations where map design and the tank your using may make it easier to defend. The problem with defending is its a static game play, most maps have room to move and attack points from multiple directions. The ability to adjust your attack based on the defenders positions make the play easier to attack. You as the defender are often forced to use the shape often predictable position and once known you can be stuck unable to respond. Cas also loves defending teams more then mobile attackers. Additionally attacking an enemy point when you already have 2 keeps defenders focus in that one spot so they don't have freedom to become the hunter .

Great last match. My only triple ace is in that tank.

Russian guns are pretty bad in terms of pen. German td's are basically impenetrable slabs of steel to most Russisn tanks at that br.

German tanks has enough power to pen t34 upper plate, but for heavy ones(KV, IS) always go for lower plate.

jagdpanzer IV and hetzer are great, but if there's a slight uptier then most tanks can easily pen them, like firefly, sherman 76, t34-85 etc.. if they get full downtier, they feel like bosses. Thankfully, most matches are 4.7 instead of 5.3, so it eliminates most threats I think they were 3.7 or 4.0 last year lol

You should try the JPZ 4-5. It is a HEAT and HESH launcher that can kill anything at its BR with great speed and mobility but 0 armor

It was one of my favorites tanks until they nerfed it's effectivness with all the "improvments" to it, other tanks, mechanics and maps. I find myself using the Hetzer way more often than this tank. But at 4.3 you don't get uptiered nearly as often as on 4.7.

Russian guns usually have lower pen overall, but compensate with higher angle pen

Yes but its very hard if versus +1 br, i use that TD versus IS-1 or Tiger 1 E i cannot pent front armour,.

I dont know about the lower tier ones, you only get to fight t-34-57 anyways because everyone and their mother plays that and the premium version, but those can easily front pen you even at range. I absolutely hate this tank. It just feels objectively worse than a panzer 4 but I also hate the panzer 4 so that's not saying much. happy you had fun with it though! You play it well

0:46 yeah the frontal armor of the Jagdpanzer IV is basically imprenetrable to anything that doesn't have the russian 57mm, 85mm or the american 90mm. the american 76mm can also go through usually but its a bit iffy sometimes, especially with the annoying add-on track armor on the front left side. and surprisingly, the mg port is not a weakspot. but most USSR mains have a skill issue regardless and so they just buy the T-72 TURMS-T and destroy germany and USA in downtiers. and yeah teammates pushing you is annoying as hell, i once was pinned down because there was a guy around the corner and a friendly abrams just decided to ram me infront of the enemy at full speed

The Russian players are a skill issue. This thing has a massive weak spot on the lower plate and the MG port I love to exploit. It's the same with the 40/70 btw.
