From what I remember, Moylan does not have a town center. It has a convenient train station on the line to Philadelphia, but there are no shops, cafes/restaurants, or other resources. The closest shopping area is in Media, a mile away, so you would need to take a car or bike, or be ready for a decent walk, each time you want to get something. The Moylan area is wealthy, and the environment is very green with gardens and mature trees. Rose Valley, which I always think of as connected with Moylan, is uniquely beautiful and has an almost mystical quality; it was designed as a community based on arts and crafts architecture, but there is much more to it that can't be easily described. Media is a resource-rich town with growing potential. In the Media/Rose Valley/Wallingford/Swarthmore area there is a strong art culture, which balances nicely with all the mainstream professions that bring in the money.
