The best places to live at BYU-IDAHO!
Hey guys! Thank you so much for watching. Just remember, this video is not meant to "bash" any of these apartments! This was all in good fun and I tried to do as much research on these places as I could! All in all, all of these apartments are great places to live!! Let me know if you would like me to do another video rating more complexes near BYUI!
**also I just now noticed that I TOTALLY DIDNT MENTION THE AMENITIES AT NAUVOO HOUSE ANDDD I DIDNT GIVE MY FINAL RATING FOR THE CEDARS! I haven’t heard much about Nauvoo’s amenities but I do know they have a little bit to offer! They’ve got movie rooms as well as a small gym. They also have a basketball court outside!! When it comes to rating The Cedars, I would rate it a 4.5 because there really isn’t anything wrong with the complex other than it may need a little updating (because I’m pretty sure the men’s building is one of the oldest apartments)**

Is north point like the gates in the way that it’ll be hard to make friends? So would you recommend for freshman??

I think northpoint is an awesome place to make friends!!! That was my first FHE group that was actually active and wanted to hangout with us! I would recommend it for freshmen for sure! Center Square is also an awesome place for freshman.
I graduated from BYU-I in 2010 and used to live in American Manor. Not sure if the apartment stills there. Really miss atmosphere and good friends! Thanks for sharing!!

My husband lived there and he enjoyed having his own room. It’s one of the only approved apartments where you can have your own room! The rooms are super tiny though!

I’ve heard awesome things about colonial! They just opened it up to men and women which is awesome, and it’s super close to campus!
Would you recommend Northpoint for freshmen if you don't already have a social group?

Yes!! North point is a great place to make friends and the wards are very social! The cedars is a great option for freshman AND to make some friends your same age!!💕

Hey! When it gets closer to next fall semester, I’d suggest calling the schools student help center! They explain everything step-by-step!

Howdy! I’m headed there 2021 fall semester, housing opens for freshmen February 20th, this month, last I checked! If you still have questions you should check your new student check-list. The link to it should have come with your track assignment e-mail.

I didn’t love my time there! My last video I posted I was living there and my apartment was pretty gross when I moved in😅 The management is nice but the owners aren’t very understanding! If you want more info I posted a review about them on Yelp! I can copy and paste it if you want!!:)
What about Abby Lane Manor, Hillcrest, Chapman House?
It is ok to live with a friend? We are planning to study there next year.

No, there’s no student housing that is that much per month. $1515 sounds about right per semester at Brookside Village since it is private rooms:)

I know of 2 BYUI approved housing complexes that have private rooms! Milano Flats and The Ridge!
