@@thegk-verse4216 I figure they developed a certain amount of mutual respect after fighting to a stalemate. It made them aware that any further attempt to kill the other could very easily result in their own death, and neither was willing to make that trade.

Very good scene framing showing Trevor pick up his whip when Alucard says Slave to our Families Wishes. Since the entire Belmont bloodlines futures were made up for them the moment Leon declared his crusader against the darkness.

None that we know of anyway. Some may have left the family to pursue other professions or to marry but they would've at least known how to defend themselves. Plus Hunting monsters is a dangerous job with a high fatality rate it's understandable that some members would sort out the Belmont Hold, procure weapons and equipment, and other things. The Castlevania story only really follows a half a dozen 'legendary' Belmont warriors across several generations.

High fatality means they need more bodies means they need more kids. So the belmont family is probably mega huge especially after these events with Trevor and Sypha.

@@oldfrend She and Trevor are supposed to marry down the line, Simon Belmont of the original Castlevania, Casltevania II and Super Castlevania IV is one of their descendants from a few generations later, so I guess the prophecy mentions that and that's why she blushes, probably never quite hit her she was the Scholar.

“...slaves to our family wishes” Trevor goes just as Leon’s words. Feels good man!

That last line was so deep and fitting for the show.

This show is one of a kind and I can rewatch it like crazy

Their trio is the full package. Trevor Sypha and Alucard. Representing the Body Mind and Soul, respectively.

The Belmonts are all slaves to the family's wishes actually. And it's almost as if even God wanted them to be the ones to defend the world from Chaos so with each generation the Belmonts surpass their predecessor

Maybe the scholar alucard means is Grant in the games he helped trevor defeat dracula but isn't here in the netflix adaptation

The Speakers are a faction that travels around the world by caravan searching for knowledge. They don't write it down, but memorize it and teach what they have learned to the next generation of speakers. Most of them aren't capable of magic except for Speaker Magicians. Like Sypha in the video. Though we do not see others like her in the series.

I loved the game, Castlevania Symphony of the Night. That's why I was so interested in this when it came out on netflix. I wish they would expand more on the game. Make the castle bigger, throw some different towns in there like they did in the older games, and even other castles in other locations that you have to go to. I don't know wtf they were trying to do in the netflix series...

It's actually a netflix adaptation called Castlevania of the game series titled the same. The games existed since the GBC and SNES days

back when castlevania was good and didn't ruin its characters.
