I’d argue it’s more in the relative min-maxing. Rampardos, for example, has 160 attack but sucks because it gets outsped and KOed. A lot of the good gen 9 mons have stats tailored better to a niche.

Kinda, but a lot also don't make them necessarily broken or anything like that. A lot just have really well min-maxed BSTs. Like, Flutter isn't the fastest or strongest Pokemon ever, but it has 135 in speed, sp def, and sp atk. So it's fast, can tank on the special side, and it can 1 shot a lot of things and 2 shot most things. That's why it'a so good. Add in how useful it's ability can be, and it can get kinda insane

Day 80 of asking- Could you make it to where the Applin line’s colors are reversed when they are shiny? So like with Appletun the apple on his head is green but the green portion of his body turns red. Same with dipplin and Hydrapple. Make the bodies that same orange/yellow/golden and make the apple green

Poison Dark fits well for the Frankenstein, but with so much Water and Ice, it feels weird not to use the Water type.

It’s insane how the two cover legends didn’t and can’t make this. Miraidon has the same speed and special attack as Flutter Mane ignoring its terrain setup on switch in and damage boost in its terrain while having STAB and terrain boost on its signature move and VOLT SWITCH. Yeah nothing wrong with him at all

To be fair, the pseudo legendary one was only 800

​@@EightFigga, this goes by base stats and discounts abilities...we'd otherwise have had Huge/Pure Power Pokémon in some of the past clips. In fact, Raging Bolt has a higher base Special Attack than Chi-Yu (137)...and Chi-Yu barely edges out Munkidori (130).

In the lore of the game, it's what caused the Loyal Trio to turn against Ogerpon (by the use of its special abilities) and why they all have the Poison typing; outside the lore, it's a mythical found in the DLC by receiving the special item via Mystery Gift.

See gen 9 doesn't have a power creap probably its actually pretty weak

I was so surprised by this result since gen 9 has had such massive powercreep with everything but it does make sense since Gen 1 had chansey with her massive 250 health bar. Gen 2 had blissey & shuckle with 255 health and 230 defense. Little wonder as to why it's the highest BST. Gen 3 had deoxy and the regis. Gen 4 & Gen 5 didn't have any of these pokemon with 200+ stats, but gen 5 fared a little better, so it's not a surprise they're both below 1000 total. Gen 6 had megas, enough said. Gen 7 had the ultra beasts which really is enough said. The second place finish had Zygarde complete with its 216 HP, but ended up with only 980 total. Gen 8 had the big purple dragon with its 255 HP. Gen 9 has paradox + beast of ruins right? Except they only have a BST of 570. And there's none of those completely minimaxed pokemons. It's no wonder why this is the lowest BST.
