Hi I live in India where there is lot of humidity and heat therefore my curly frizzy are dry-damaged-lot of split ended-lightening struck hair... I tried DIY deep conditioning oil treatment. 1.Put aloe Vera gel on my whole hair scalp root everywhere, 2. mix 2:1 coconut oil(olive oil/sesame oil is also great) and castor oil respectively, add 3-4 vitE capsules and heat it a bit...to make it also work like a serum(optional) I added 4-5 drops of essential oil(Rosemary or lavender or tea tree anything is fine). I kept it overnight on hair and washed in morning and did this for entire 1month...God my hair Finally began curling beautifully again... Do try it and tell me the result girls..

I am literally obsessed with oils in my hair. I use everything from coconut to castor to argan to sweet almond. I'm also low key obsessed with rosemary and peppermint. I can't tell you how much better my hair has become after 4 months of oiling every other week.

I have already watched this video twice probably but I came back again, because I really like listening to you speak. It's so calming and distracting in a good way, when I am stressed or sad.
Prepoo with coconut oil overnight before wash day 👌🏽 I also love Apricot Oil, it's lightweight & a humectant. JBCO is too heavy for me. Rosemary & Peppermint Essential Oil can help with hair growth.

@@mohammedqureshi9085 yeah- but if she chooses to wear her hair straight, she can. If she wants to wear it curly, but her mother is the problem, she could always do a big chop and regrow her curls when she’s an adult. Either way, she’s young and she can wear her hair however she likes.
This video just changed my life! Gave me soooo much knowledge and answered so many of my questions! I’ve been using Olive oil with Aloe as a deep conditioner and then my grapeseed as a sealant and it’s been amazing!!!
I have high porosity, fine, thin 3B hair. To deep condition, I add olive & coconut oils into my Shea Moisture masques. For scalp massages, I use JBCO with essential oils (for growth) but only before washing since it's a heavy oil. To seal moisture, I add several drops of argan oil to my leave-in KCKT conditioner so it's not too heavy. Those of us with finer, high porosity hair have a real balancing act with needing the moisture but getting weighed down by oils. However, I find the best results by adding them into my hair products vs on their own. Plus, I'm slightly obsessed with oils so I have a large collection to make face & body creams too. If I were a minimalist, my hair would be completely satisfied with argan and coconut oils only.

This sounds similar to my experience..My hair is mostly 3b with some 3a and 2c in the neck area. I didn’t use oil because my hairdresser would blow dry my hair. However, with the pandemic and the need to do my own hair, I’ve started roller set and experimenting with oil. I read about and discovered coconut oil which my hair loves, just a few drops in the palm and recently learned to finish with a couple of drops of argon or JoJoba oil. My hair doesn’t have the super polished look of salon hair but it’s glossy and healthy and has grown several inches.
My list of every carrier oil and essential oil that i own is long, but a few of my favorites are coconut, avocado, rosemary, sunflower, peppermint and castor oil. Rosemary essential oil is good for hair growth, Sunflower oil is very very oily so after i deep condition i usually use a little shampoo afterwards but it is great for controlling frizz, and Peppermint essential oil is also used to stimulate hair growth as well as getting rid of dandruff. I hope this helps a lot of you🙂
Bianca I love all of your videos, you are most informative curl evangelist I've ever seen and my curls have never looked so good and lasted so long!
I always pre poo with a blend of oils before I wash my hair to detangle and nourish it. It will help your hair grow so fast and keep it super soft. Love this video !
your hair is so so so so so beautiful !!!
Oh I'm super excited you showed me oils something I've appreciate it the past!!!
I loved this video! It was so informative and I learned a lot about other oils. Currently I'm using an almond oil on my hair.
You're so right! Just reading the title I though... girl, you don't use oil! I'm so glad you made this video though! I've been using oils on my scalp for several months, but didn't realize the difference between oils that penetrate and oil that seal. Thank you for that knowledge!! Tip: I add a few drops of rosemary oil to my leave in conditioner because it makes it smell AMAZING and evidently, it's good for hair growth too. This also helps if you combine just one drop of rosemary oil to other oils that you don't like the smell of. It will make any oil smell wonderful!! Thanks for everything you do, Bianca!! #snapfam
I started working a Sally beauty and I know NOTHING about textured hair! your channel is an absolute life saver and my go to guide for curls and product reviews. Girl I'm so glad I found you 😭💖
I am a new subscriber to your channel. I am absolutely loving and enjoying your comical and informative videos. I have learnt so much and have been reminded about a lot of good practices which I abandoned but have recently revived because I love having healthy hair. Keep up the awesome work!
I've recently gotten into mixing my own oils to have more control over my hair's health. I love grapeseed oil, shea oil, castor oil (black or regular), and black seed oil as base/carrier oils. My favorite essential oils are rosemary, tea tree, lavender, rose absolute, and rose hip oil. I use coconut oil as a pre-poo. It's a little greasy for me to have in my hair all the time, but it makes my hair really soft!
Awesome video! Very informative. Thanks for sharing👍
You're hair curls are just too cute!!!
I really appreciate this video! I was at Whole Foods looking for hair oils and you popped up!
Daaaammmmn look at this amazing curls 🙌🏻 God bless you girrrl ❤️
Almond and Argan oil are also good ones. I mix olive oil, almond oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil, argan oil with 15 drops of tea tree oil and use that as a hot oil treatment, pre-poo or even a sealant. Thank you for your continued support for us curlies.
I watched a previous video that someone else posted about hair oils. Led me to your channel after only to hear the same oils that made me happy to get a second opinion and I just purchased all these oils. Thank you
I honestly love watching your videos and your editing skills are A1 🙌🏼
I love Jojoba oil! I mix jojoba oil with peppermint and rosemary essential oils to do scalp massages. I switch between using jojoba oil and almond oil and it adds shine, moisture and volume to my hair. Its a great combo when fluffing your roots with your fingers. I also use jojoba oil on the ends of my hair after refreshing my curls with a spray bottle and a leave in conditioner. It really makes all the difference for me.
Love your videos! Very informative!

Thanks for this video ❤️ I love your energy girl 👑
Thanks so much for explaining the difference!
After two years of neglect, I've started taking care of my hair again. I love coconut oil, it always improves the texture and condition of my 2C - 3A hair, and I love the smell of virgin coconut oil.
I know this is an older video but I really loved it! I've used most of these oils on my hair but currently I do a scalp massage once a week with jbco and argan oil mixed then I use a blend of coconut and olive with rosemary, lemon and tea tree essential oils on the length of my hair. I do this the night before I clarify my hair to precondition it. During the week I will use a few drops of argan oil to keep my hair moist but at this time I avoid my scalp. Thanks! You and curlypenny are my favorites!

I use Sweet Almond oil for everything! I just keep it in my shower! Feet, body, face, hair, you name it!
I love oils in my hair, my favorites are coconut oil and jbco. It's hard for me because I have high porosity hair, to find oils that help. Thank you Bianca for helping me figure that out. Your channel as been so inspiring for me, I've been natural for a year and a half. And your videos have really helped so thank for that. #Snapfam

I only use vitamin E oil and or Moroccan oil for the LOC method, to take down twist and braids, and to soften my hair between wash days. They're light enough to where I can use them daily if I want (but don't) and they don't have a smell, and they absorb well in my hair.
Oh, I love the Grapeseed oil! I use it all the time.

My daughter has curly hair, and I’m learning how to take care of it. I usually wet it with a spray bottle, a couple sprays of leave in conditioner and then I’ve been doing coconut oil but I believe it’s too heavy, esp for everyday. Do you think jojoba oil could be used daily? Thank you!
Hi girl we have such similar hair and I ALWAYS use oils! Personally I also save Coconut oil for detangling, but whenever I can I do nightly scalp massages with Jamaican Black Castor Oil (I use the Shea Moisture brand) and I notice a HUGE difference in growth and the strength of my hair overall
I LIKE LISTENING TO you talk about hair . thank you for all the info
I absolutely love MzBiancaRenee she’s so knowledgeable 👏🏽 and entertaining to watch. Okay when it comes to oils I tend to use African pride’s magical gro bc it truly strengthens the cuticle as well as breaks the gel cast I have after styling. Though don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of coconut oil bc of the moisture it puts in my hair.
I love almond oil other than the oils you mentioned it helps with detangling more than coconut (it worked better for me) and it adds shine to your hair and also I love your videos❤️

this video was informative. Bianca you are so funny. I love it
Definitely helped clarify some things for me, I have coconut oil and JBCO at home but never really knew how to use them, now I know! #SnapFam!
great information! i did not know oils were so important
I actually use grape seed oil as a pre-poo and also a sealant. I love it! I’m currently transitioning back to my curly hair and grape seed oil has left my hair detangled and super soft. Sometimes olive and coconut oil have been too heavy on my hair
Great video! Very informative and well put together. My curl type is between a 3A and 3B. I started experimenting with oils over a year ago and I haven't found the music of coconut oil like others have.. but EVOO does wonders for my hair! After it's applied it feels so soft and touchable and really helps with preventing tangles. My hair goals are to get more growth and length and less frizz. Lately, I've been doing scalp massages with EVOO + JBCO + peppermint essential oil (just 2-4 drops) before I wash my hair. I really enjoy the stimulating feel you get with the peppermint oil, and the olive oil is perfectly paired with the castor oil to easily work the roots all over. After I wash, I like to apply a few drops of EVOO to ends of the hair strands to prevent dryness and breakage.
I discovered avocado oil last year! I love and it makes my hair soft-especially in the winter!
Great job.....I am going to start incorporating oils into my curly hair routine!!
I recently started using almond oil, its quite light weight and really helps me with frizz and locking in moisture. I put it on after leave in conditioner on soaking wet hair
I love coconut oil & Amla oil. I am indian n those work for me since I was a child. You're so awesome gf. Keep up the sharing and great work. Looking forward to your DIYs
I've always been using coconut oil ever since I was a kid and before I started my curly hair journey. It's pretty heavy in the hair but it helped my natural hair grow healthy. Somehow, I think it made my dark hair darker and shinier. I still use it up till now in my curly hair journey and I learned not to put too much so that it won't wear my hair down. But I'm still trying to find oils that will help me improve in my journey that's why I'm here. Anyway, thank you Ms. Bianca!!
the best oil for my hair is Morrocan argan oil! I don't know where it's a penetrating or lock-in oil but when I use it my hair is so soft - lovely to touch and has a healthy shine to it. I really love it
Love this!!! The controversy over oils is just so confusing! #snapfam 💁🏻

Yaniza I would use a spoolie (mascara wand) and comb the oil through my brows at night, a little goes a long way since it's very thick. After that I'd go to sleep and wash it off in the morning when washing my face. I did that almost every night for a month and it worked for me.

Coconut, jojoba, grape seed oils. Love them, they aren't heavy. I do on occasion use sweet almond oil. Mostly, in my deep conditioner.
Very Helpful!! Thanks Bestiiie
I LOVE Argan oil. I have low to normal porosity hair with thin strands that can easily be weighed down, so this works wonders for shine and softness.
Great video!!!
Your hair looks bomb here it’s beautiful.
+ BiancaReneeToday. Your hair has grown so GORGEOUSLY, following some of your tips because I have your curl pattern but with doing the *cg method* last year and ending up with *hygral fatigue*, I've been trying to repair it ever since and LOVE me some oils, my FAVS are olive, coconut, avocado and definitely grapeseed oils. I mostly use olive oil to pre-poo, scalp massages and with regular conditioner as a diy deep conditioner, and for sealing my ends. And I really love grapeseed oil for sealing.😏
I actually use a combination of oils and place in an applicator bottle - 2oz each of Olive, Castor, avocado, jojoba and grape seed. I use it with my deep conditioners and with praying hands to SOTC. Before bed I also use a little on my edges and nape before putting on my satin cap. Since stating this regimen my hair now retains moisture better, and isn’t dry nor does it break as much. Highly recommend adding oils to your routine!
#snapfam! My fav oil for my low porosity hair is grape seed oil. I use it a lot after I diffuse and it add shines, breaks any “cast” and doesn’t weigh my hair down! Def my holy grail oil 🙌🏽

I LOVE grapeseed oil for my curls!!💖
i have natural ring tight curly hair but for a long time i hated my curls but my mom started going natural and after a year her hair came back, mine however is taking a longer time because i have tighter curls then her so it’s been a little over a year and i have some really tight curls and then looser ones, but the oils that i’ve found that helped me the most so far was coconut oil, olive oil, and caster oil, i tend to put them in my deep conditioners or after i finished defusing my hair.
I use coconut, avocado, grape seed, almond, and olive oils mixed together and then applied as a hot oil treatment. Once or twice a week before I wash it. My hair was super damaged from the coloring and heat so it really brought back the healthy hair I had and my curls are starting to look more defined
Thanks for the info on oils. I learned something today as I didn't know there was a difference in sealing oil versus moisturizing oils. I was about to waste some money!
I love sweet almond oil as a sealant. It's also very lightweight and I use it for lotion. And my daughter loves avocado oil in her hair.
Bianca seems to have similar hair to my own but I've found that my hair no longer tolerates heavy oils. If coconut or avocado oil is too heavy for your hair try a blend with safflower oil. I found mine at Wal-Mart, cooking oil section, for $10 and my hair is loving it. Put a little in your water bottle for refreshing and/or mix with cream of any sort. The safflower oil helps the coconut and avocado oils penetrate and really lock in the moisture. I even use it for my skin and I'm so freaking soft now.
DIY deep conditioner with a couple of what you showed! 9 parts coconut oil 9 parts Olive oil 3 parts aloe Vera gel 1 part honey A great deep conditioner. Makes my hair crazy soft 3b hair and 6 months on the curly trail
Thank you for educating me. My hair LOVES coconut oil.
Love your videos!!😍
I make a mixture of coconut oil, black castor oil, and tea tree oil. The coconut oil helps disperse the black castor oil since it's so thick, and a very little bit of tea tree oil smells amazing and is really healthy for your scalp. I also heat it before using as a hot oil treatment and for scalp massages.
