With the second creation, I think all of the free bearings are there to provide a flexible connection to each of the wheel sections. Almost as a type of suspension.

3:58 all the bearings are there to make the axle between the wheels flex making it better at going over things. They put the axle there to stop the wheels bending out.

In this game engine don t need air so is only for design

The mode on the second video is for when you go under water, to keep you above the water level so you don’t get kicked out of your seat

13:55 yeah it's a trophy truck. The point of a trophy truck is to get the most suspension travel possible and they usually have VERY soft suspension

Hey man I recently downloaded trailmakers and found your content and I absolutely love your evolution series. I'd like to make a suggestion for a new video of that series. I have experience in off roading/rock crawling and would love to see an evolution of a rock crawler where you guys need to climb a steep incline consisting of dirt/rock/mud and evolve to get up the fastest.

The creation with the piston in the suspension has it there for a reason. Wishbone suspension only negates the gravity suspension glitch, not the tilt glitch (most of the time). The piston (sometimes) negates the tilt glitch to.

When I say tilt glitch I mean put your lift at the front of the vehicle and do the glitch test but let the front of the vehicle hook onto the lift and get the whole thing above the ground. take away the lift. The vehicle might fall to the ground but it won't tilt. Hit the top with your hammer or paint a block. It will start to fall but will eventually stop before it hits the ground. The glitch may stop if you get in the seat as well

The bearings on #2 are to allow the wheel sections to move almost freely. Watch the bearing connections when going over intense terrain.

I've been watching you for about 4 or 5 years now, every upload. I just wanted to show some gratitude for all the entertainment you've given me ScrapMan. :)

I don't know if it's ever been done before, but I would like to see a working Piston off road control that works off of sensors. Kinda like a Cadillac.

Thanks bro love all the support on my track lol, I built it for my friend and he couldn’t subscribe so I had to make it public and it blew up out of nowhere

i think the second one has all those baring to keep the build together but let it be flexible because when you see it go up and down stuff the wheels move separately but are still attached so it dosnt go all over the place

Anything with the wheel wells from the Mod Packs have been known to have that wonky collision that makes a quasi suspension glitch/flip glitch. I think that's what was going on with the Offroad Jeep, Daxin-MMR, and the third to last Off Road vehicle. They were using the wheel wells (at least the jeep and off road were) while the MMR was using the various wedges which have wonky collision as well.

The reason for the amount of bearings on vehicle 2 is so it attaches the sets of wheel as a rope that can stretch as bearings like that are very glitchy and make a stretchy top of sorts that you cannot get from anything else

With all the updates it messed with suspension, thrusters, lights etc so most older creations will have soft suspension or the light facing in weird direction like the 3rd vehicle. So it's not just a weird design choice lol

The last off road car the butten 4 is a snorkel for water so when you go in water (deep water) you take it and air goes through to the Raideator for the engine.

Never been a huge fan of how cars and suspension works in Scrap Mechanic. Cars feel floaty, and the suspension feels like it has too much dampening.
