I love how Tokido's 'home' is Snowy Rail Yard, Kiryu Tsukimiya's 'home' is Old Temple, and Bullcat's 'home' is Solar Eclipse. They start to bring some more personality to the game in my opinion.

Tokido is just crazy. He's reeeeaaally creative pulling off so much stuff
I rmbr alot of these from watching full matches of Tokido last year, great video!
he's the one who inspired me to make my akuma better. its not easy to keep up that pace and execution. great video thanks for making it. its like a nice quick reference guide for keeping up the vortex.
This video shows how much the game has evolved over the past few years. The amount of demon flips that went unpunished in this video blew my mind. Great video though, gotta love Tokido's Akuma.

I wouldn't say unpunished, more like, unchecked. It's not like demon flip has negative frames, unless of course some idiot uses the default sweep from it.
Great video! I really enjoyed watching this.
his combos have such a spectacular flow. most of his kills end with tatsumaki into ex shoryuken. that was some amazing gameplay.
I gladly relinquish 8 minutes out of every day of my life to come here and watch this! xD Such godliness!
Nice :) The comeback against Sagat was epic, the vortex strategies shown here definitely can help my akuma wake-up game =) thanks for uploading ShinAkuma! :-D
Thank you for this. Just an excellent displaying showing what can be done if you master Akuma's vortex game.
Keep it up dude, these compliations are godlike.
great compilation ! :D thanks !
More compilations of top-players pls :D And also,im really grateful for all your effort and uploads! For me as an oldschool q3 player and a ssf4 noob this is so great ,thx again :D
great video and thanks you for putting in all the work to make this! I'm sure it took a while. It is much appreciated and keep um coming
thankyou for not doing lame transitions, music and special effects. and also thankyou for not doing a useless 1 minute intro that shows your name. Good compilation of Akuma mixup, thanks for putting this together!
Nice compilation man!
Good editing skills Shin, I liked the sliding.
best 8 mins of my life, thanks man
Watching Akuma bodying ppl is one of the most satisfying things ever
If i was battling Tokido the last place i want to be is on the ground. I dont think i'd be able to get back up. I love his mix up game, even the great players struggle to guess right. Great compilation vid!!
Amazing. Thank you
and well worth it too. I was seeing your page and noticed that a lot of things that are being done now you did WAY before. you're truly a legend bro. I just wished you would've continued to upload :(
Needs more Raging Demon.

thanks man
Hes playing is so smooth It is pleasure to see him fighting
Truly inspirational and shinakuma204 was my favorite originally, but I realized how skilled Tokido really was once again.
I think I can translate, I read derp. "Your is dope bro. I'm an Akuma fan and I'm recently playing with him. Now I'm playing with your tactics and I'm winning so thanks for this vid."
awsome compilations! please do one for Sako cammy and Acqua or Iyo ibuki too
cool combo video bro
Tokido lost so many matches when he was first starting out, but he got better and better and using Akuma. He is now so good that he can pwn Hiropon the Seth god like nothing. Tokido, you are an inspiration to us all!
tokido needs to upload replays to renew my faith in you the latest ones i saw were ones of him getting his ass kicked
What I love about Tokido finishing rounds is that instead of using his ultra for an easy win on stunned characters, he decides to do some combo practice. Nice.
I remember when this first came out. Damn, time flies!
I never did, you have reading problems?
Well as far as I know, they have played 2 sets...Pikachuakuma won the 1st and Tokido won the 2nd
Easy combos but great safe jumps and setups. Amazing!
Amazing comeback on that last fight!
dude the last one was sick, with the jumping down mk. hit confirm into fierce DP, Tokido is sick with it!
urs doppe broo im a aumkua fwn and im recently. now playin with using yur tactics and im winnin so thanks for this vid
All the complete matches are on my channel. :)
Thanks for 400,000 plus views, it means a lot!! Make sure to check out the other "Best of" videos, including 3 "Best of Japanese Ranked Matches" videos, plus the best of ACE・EIRIN (Guile), Playerjun52 (Ken), Bullcat (Gouken), Latif (Viper), Uryo (Sakura) and -R- (Boxer).
Wow amazing especially the last one Those cross-ups and blocks too pro
The freakin last fight + the BGM during that fight was freakin astonishing.
" No super fancy transitions, no music, no special effects...Just the goods. :-) " Translation: I couldn't be bothered editing... Just Kidding Shin, we love your videos! thanks for making work tolerable!
@LilNaishieez Tokido and DSP are gonna play SSF4 or SF2??
A best of Tokido series and not a single Raging Demon.
i want another ''best of'' series ;x
About time he got one of these. He plays BBCS, SSF4, & T6 at tourney level. Fucking inspiring.
@cyborgLIS I read it on Shoryuken com and other websites, and yes my neighbour has a Xbox and I have a PS3, you can notice the differences between the input delays.
the best of tokido , the badass!!
This is a great video. I wanna see Tokido go against Momochi though.
@tehbomb thanks for the pointers. yea i kinda noticed that too. but sometimes I just cant make out the difference in watxhing these vids of akuma.
@Nalkjn2 i dont know the exact name of the move but its a cross up. theyre not sure whether they have to block their front side or back side or whether he's even going to throw them. it is blockable but its like a guessing game to determine where.
@Redemptionmusicz ... Lol, yup. i've saved tokido's replays since i started watching them on the replay channel when ssf4 was but a month old. ;-)
love his mix ups, hope I can do as well as that
man, that's really epic! the best akuma fights (and victories for that matter) i've ever seen so far. is it possible to pull off those moves/combos using the keyboard? i only own the pc version. i'm not much of a gamer myself but after seeing this makes me wanna learn too. Good gamin', everyone!
Is he demon flipping and doing the dive kick during those vortex when the opponent is getting up or is he just doing the normal jump forward to dive kick version? for example in 7:53 - 7:55 of the last match with the Sagat match, did he do a command demon flip or just a jumping forward to dive kick? I can't seem to tell the difference.
His cancel on that fireball is so quick you can barely notice it...Wow..
You should do one for Uryo as well that would be awesome .... but this was amazing cheers !
I like seeing this video a lot, but now I'm really thinking to myself like I would like to see their inputs
@EmJaYGaming ... you can, just look up t alloy body under the upload search...in fact, ANY of these rounds, you can see the whole match, every single one of these matches are uploaded on my channel. :-)
I just realized how dangerous and overpowered Gouki's vortex was.
@0ShinAkuma0 i'm an akuma player and i always wanted to use the EX Hyakki Shuu and shoryuken but i do the demon slide instead.. how do you do it?
@EnvitoScotsman ... ha ha, if you're an akuma mainer, this vid isn't boring, it's pretty helpful to helping your vortex game...and besides, i didn't title it "tokido's best comebacks" just a best of vid, and what tokido is best at, is the vortex game. :-)
Tokidos vortex is unreal. He crosses up with the demon flip kick so well, no one can block that unless they know for certain its coming.
really nice akuma wow one of the best iv seen
thanks man. yup, i guess so. you just have to get the hang of it. but how do you pull off the low tatsu to down high kick? i can't seem to link them.
Sweet vid, you should do one for Bullcat.
just watching Tokido's Battle points increase so much after each win :P
@Tungchu92 its apart of his demon flip options.. to demon flip you input forward, down, forward, plus a kick button..(shoryuken motion with kicks..) while akuma is in the air... if you press any punch he will demon plam, if you press any kick he will dive kick... and if you press throw he will throw the opponent.. (it cant be techd)
Hey shin, just wondering, how do you find every single tokido replay? Is he on XBL or PSN? So basically everyday you search for his gamertag? Or what kinda thing do you do to track him and save replay? :S
It can be either light punch or medium punch. The cr. light punch is a little easier to connect for me, but the range isn't as far as the cr. medium punch. The farthest range (hitbox) after a standing Hard Kick is the cr.light kick, but it's harder to connect than both cr.mp and cr.lp, so you gotta pick your spots! And thanks man, your one of the original viewers of this channel, so I try my best to reply even though I don't upload anymore. :)
i love tokido, his akuma and his sean are beast.
@HakaizeXLilith ... what do you mean? upload it as your own video, or will it be my video on nico nico?? i mean, i don't mind, but i put a lot of time into this one...so go ahead, but please put the link to my channel or the link to this video.
Hey shinakuma, you play xbox or ps3? also do you play street fighter 3rd strike? I feel as though akuma went a bit clunky and downhill from 4 and up.... whats your opinion?
where did you get all these clips from? and are they playing on 360? is this from a tournament?
@QwietStorm No, not yet, I have thought of doing a Best of video for lsy9983, but i'm just not sure if Bison gameplay really makes for a good highlight video, ha ha, but if I do make one, i'll make it for lsy9983 or a compilation of Bison players like you said, Kim1234, AOI MOMO, HARITSUKA AN, lsy9983, FunkySinger, etc.
@junior5516 It's still gonna be Akuma, but he did say he will try out Oni for fun when he's officially released.
@ClickForOutkast Interesting, thanks for that info. Is this documented somewhere or did you test yourself?
how do you do that grab in the air? where akuma does the dive kick and at the last second he grabs the shoulders and throws?
Great fucking match to finish up the sheer rampage that was released throughout the video.
@UCantCena i have no idea why you would want to do a demon flip to a shoryuken anyway to it you have to ex demon flip then do the palm just before you hit the ground to cancel it then shoryuken
you can crouch block all akumas move after the demon flip so you can just block everything he does and the air grab whiffs on crouching opponents which is why he does regular jump in's with d+mk which looks like the demon flip kick so that's the only thing you have to look out for and block high everything else just block low
This clip is the holy grail for all the Akuma/Gouki players world wide.
@iBringHurTz It's a untechable knockdown, its basically cr hk around the same timing as you would pull off the DP, theres not too much of a window to do it and sometimes tokido does miss it. If you have turbo set it on HK and just hold it after a light tatsu to get a feel for the timing of it.
6:29 - He managed to see the counterhit c.MP and reacted fast enough to combo into roundhouse. Godly reflexes.
@solidbeaver .... because a sweep enables you to work the vortex...you can't quick get up from a sweep, so you're able to continue your mix-ups on the opponent that is waking up for more damage over all...as you can see, tokido is confident enough that he skips guaranteed damage like a fancier longer combo so he can continue to apply the vortex for more simple combos which equals more damage overall...only time i see tokido dp after lk tatsu is when the dp damage will win the round for him.
omg that last battle was a epic comeback!!
@mviejo1 i see, that makes sense, ty btw does anyone know a way to do a fireball out of forward dash? or walking forward fierce-punch into fireball ? since its the same inputs as a srk the srk will always come out for me :/
@0ShinAkuma0 just wanting to say we miss your uploads man!
@jvkenshin416 That is the normal forward jump dive kick. You can tell the difference by the sound of demon flip kick and the normal dive kick make when they connect. Demon Flip Dive Kick sounds like you got hit by a heavy attack and the normal dive kick sounds like you get hit by medium attacks.
@0ShinAkuma0 Hey Shin, do you have any best of Bison videos, maybe MOMO, funkysinger, or somebody?
What is that move called when the opponent is on the ground and about to stand up, tokido always jumps over them and hits them and they don't block it. what is it called and why can't they block it?
