Well someone could make a sequel to "The Producers" and have part of the joke being michael bay and other top studio directors are in competitions to make the most ridiculous play possible that can still get enough numbers to displace the musical cats since cats had a full film produced and upset the big directors etc.... imagine a michael bay play with weekly pyrotechnics

That ending scene with bike has to be among one of the worst shots in cinema history. I burst out laughing at it.

Yes you can tell they are Tier 1, SOF because they have absolutely no weapons, magazines, grenades, knives, sidearms. 😒

I have a feeling those dudes go home to the chicks from Angel's Revenge and they fight over who's outfit is groovier.

The closest civilization will ever come to creating a GI Joe movie.

I was aware of MegaForce having a plan to do 3-4-5 films. No real idea of a TV show. PS; in comic book, magazine ads, Cdr Ace wears a sidearm, has guns. But not in the movie.

Well after the empire strikes back everyone had to put higher budgets into films

The Hitler and Michael Bay doing lines bit is one of my favorite in all of Rifftrax hahaha

I was about 12 when this came out. I saw the commercials and really wanted to see it. Had I actually gone to see it I think it would have made a disappointing puberty even more so.

I swear that guy Dallas is what you'd get if you put Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey in a blender.

Another mad thing about this, the production company is Golden Harvest. They did most of Jackie Chan's movies in the 80's & 90's.

This is my all-time favorite bad movie. A prime slice of 80s action cheese- the politics are weird and terrible, the rear-projection is fairly awful, and the 'manly comeraderie' among the men is beautifully forced. But the action scenes- >chefs finger kiss

Oh, Pumaman. :) May you and your many spiritual descendants in stupid-looking flying effects live long and prosper.

Not sure WHERE the 20 million spent on this movie went, but I still got a kick out of this film.

I remember seeing this turd on HBO back in '84. even then I was like, "What am I watching?"

Another commentor also pointed it out, but to be fairly honest, I did have my suspicions when I saw him take off the hat, and wondered why he looked familiar. To be fair, when he's not wearing the hat, and just sitting there not saying anything, if you've ever seen The Warriors, you could recognize his face. He had the same stare in that movie. At least this is a bad 80's action movie, that's enjoyably bad, and has an alright soundtrack. And apparently, according to someone in the comments, this movie also inspired the movie Team America: World Police, by the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Which I hope is true, because Team America is one of my favorite movies ever. And South Park is pretty much one of my favorite shows.

Sadly yes. But did you expect him to ever get offers to direct anything remotely Oscar-worthy? After this he went on to direct RAD a BMX bike themed cheese fest

It always bothers me when I watch an MST/RiffTrax and see an actor or actress that I'm a big fan of and know that they're WAY TOO GOOD for this film/short. Case in point: Edward Mulhare. And to a lesser extent George Furth and Persis Khambatta . Also, as much as I love the 80s. They had some WTF films out there that just don't cooperate with my brain.

Author Tom Clancy created a future tier 1 type NATO spec ops group 🌈 Rainbow 6. Those SWAT guys were picked from all over.

As insanely cheesy as this movie was. I still enjoy watching it for the hilarious cheesiness.

dune buggies are used by special forces since they can get around large amounts of space in a short amount of time. they are light, fairly quiet for their speed, don't break down and for recon the weapons they can mount can do the job more effectively then an apc or humvee. motorcyles are also used for the same reasons in recon and transport of special forces troops.

​@@galexeqe why wouldn't they be? if you had such rockets and they were that accurate that would be a potential major force of increase in power. its not like mounted weapons on bikes is not something unknown to the military. Vespa 150 TAP was a scooter that had a M20 75 mm recoilless rifle in the frame of the vehicle. while meant to be fired while stationary it could be fired while the scooter was on the move. Then you have the bikes whose sidecars had machine gun even mortar mounts on them.
