The only exception to the rule I can think of is "Slade Craven" from Turbulence 3...but that's kind of splitting hairs.

Funnily enough, I've never heard Ronald Reagan speak during or after his presidency. I did hear his voice in the movies he did back in the '40s, but I guess his voice changed in the intervening decades.

To be fair, a cigar fire is pretty low temperature and won't set off most common explosives, certainly not of the type that come in big ol' boxes. To be unfair, shooting them won't set them off either.

It’s a short scene, but I always think that it’s interesting that Slade’s rude to literally everyone in the film except his secretary, one person you’d think he’d be rude to. He even smiles and thanks her at the end. - Also, I’d watch a buddy-cop show with Joyce and Jake. They have good buddy-cop charisma.

It’s interesting that this low-budget film got more actual martial artists than the 90s Mortal Kombat movie. They have so many martial artists that even bit players like parking lot lady are martial artists. 😄 This is not a great film (an entertaining one, sure), but they understood the assignment.

Why does the music sound like it was recorded underwater?

Well we couldn’t get Eddie but.....

Don't be too sad about it, his Bootleg Stunt Double has won like, 2 or 3 Eddie Murphy lookalike contests over the years. And plus, after all the stunt work he probably does, it's about time the guy got a lead role in the poor man's Beverly Hills Cop, as the poor man's Detective Axel Foley.
