Not really relative but coming from a person who purchased a Rally Racing game. It is by far the hardest racing game I have ever played so I have a lot of respect for Rally now lol. Not making just one turn correctly with the right speed can make you lose seconds which is majorly crucial or crash which I would've died a lot of times if it wasn't a game. Learning how to understand what 5 left 3 right means, trying not to gas it like every other racing game and realizing its a marathon and not a sprint Thank God for the restart button or I would've given up on the game as soon as I bought it. Lol a new found respect for Rally BIG TIME.

The car control with these rally drivers is exquisite 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

WRC+ rally and Isles of Man TT.

Just insanity. Not just the visuals either. The work put into the cars (both guys need to be mechanics as well), the recon, testing. Then add the performance to it which is the special part. These guys listening to pace notes and concentrating on those plus the road. Humans are awesome sometimes right

Lets appreciate the suspension systems. The way they fully extend on jumps and big bumps to a controlled compression is clever stuff. Smooth almost.

That's all i could think from the first clip on. Perfect damping to just land those jumps without any bouncing. There's some incredible skill in the design and setup of those systems.

The hard part is too be able to land softly while still having the suspension be able to move up and down fast when it needs to like on a quick bumb

Funny thing is, the Citroen WRC+ was a complete failure. Even Ogier can't get used to that car's behaviour. As far as 2017-2021 era goes, there were two cars that are very competitive that is the i20 & the Yaris. The Yaris has always been the maddest looking out of bunch.

Ruthless, i have never seen a better combination of a man and machine. These racers and cars are iconic. What a game. To find an edge in this game literally comes down to how skill full you are at driving these machines without killing yourself

Or how far to the edge you are willing to go. That one more second you stand on the gas, that second you brake later, that little bit less angle you go through a corner, the 30cm you go closer to the edge of the track. That little bit more you want to risk is the difference between some mid field driver and a walter röhrl or a colin McRae. These guys were ready to end it all in their metal tombs.

Driving on show, gravel, ice, etc. The Navigator, or co-pilot, is decisive. Watching a Rally live, centimeters away from the cars is breathtaking!

Looks like Group B is back and better than ever. Amazing what this new breed is doing.

The cars getting better over time seems normal to me. But I'm stunned how these drivers are able to drive like this. It's crazy.

I am not a follower of the WRC but one thing I noticed right away is that the suspension and handling of these cars look far superior to the cars of a decade ago. They just swallow the bumps and jumps and don't miss a beat.

In the case of these videos, they're fake. They're sped up. Look at the bystanders and scenery. You can tell they're in fast-forward. Whoever made these videos is basically a liar, and a fake.

A real Competition. Pilot-skills, fabulous, highly resistant cars, an insane Public.... Rallies, are truly serious. American circuits, in which cars only make 4 identical left turns -- over and over. Very popular in the US. And it's possible to follow the entire event, from the First lap to the very end. In a Rally, a Spectator selects a vantagem spot -- watching all the cars zooming by, just centimeters away. Somehow, like the Pamplona Running of the Bulls in Spain.

This is why I watch WRC

Really wish this was a "thing" in the US. Man, I know some roads in SW Ohio and way south Indiana - that would be fantastic rally routes. Mixed surfaces and the whole thing. Even a few miles of single lane dirt. Some marked 15MPH corners that really mean it. No guard rails at all. Very few signs. I've spent months looking for "interesting" country drives. I (was) driving a basically stock-engine 2003 VW Bug. I did have carbon ceramic brakes, Cup-2 tires, and after-market shocks and springs. Car was lowered and had more of a competition alignment. Engine was stock with better breathing and exhaust only. The car wasn't what you'd call fast, but it could slow and corner as well as a WRX I owned in 2001. I also had a Hyundai Veloster "N" type for a few months. Intent was - rally car. But, then I went blind enough to give up driving forever. Bummer. So now my GF drives me everywhere. She has a Charger that is just crying to be a bracket racer. She's game... we'll see.... I can still turn a wrench !

YES they are the best drivers in the WORLD NOT just any driver can do that they are insane

These cars are the difference between our cars and horses. They handle so well and are all 4 wheel pulling which makes them respond instantly. But the drivers are very impressive.

there is extreme sport, then there is just pure insane stuff people do then there is a huge cap of nothing and after that comes rally racing. I don't even understand how and why one would do this stuff but i'm glad there are lads out there pushing it just to prove its possible. Don't know what we will do with this knowledge but that stuff is for future generations to figure it all out.
