We traveled to New York City from Maryland during our USA road trip! We have so much fun exploring Manhattan and only had one day to do it. Seeing New York City in a day is difficult and exhausting, but definitely possible and fun! During our trip to NYC, we saw Times Square, had a typical New York bagel, Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, The Rockefeller Building, 5th Avenue, Ground Zero, and Grand Central Station. The journey into New York City from New Jersey was also beautiful and so cheap!
Also, we definitely did New York City on a budget and only spent $30 per person for the day! We hope you enjoy our New York City and Manhattan vlog :)

Last time we visited NY we stayed there. For the price of three crappy mid town hotels we got a condo for the 6 of us, rooftop bar and pool right where you were. Love that area and great Manhattan views. Our young son walked around the streets, went into a venue for food and when the locals heard he was English he instantly made a room full of friends. We found a local craft market in a school behind the large museum at Central Park Ate good from a deli sitting next to the Nobel monument. Watched funky rollers skaters, ran the whole park, amazed at Central Station.

Hey guys, a big hello from Thailand. I recognize a few of those places from my one trip to New York City back in 1990 something. Didn't have much time to do anything though. Landed at the airport, got in a car, was driven to Carnegie Hall, sang my heart out, back in the car ,went to the airport and caught a flight back to California. I had the option to stay in the city for a few days and I can't tell you why I didn't. I think it was a mistake because I have never been back. Question, do you guy's ever plan to come back to Thailand? I think if would be great to meet up with you guys and have dinner. I have never been in a country that have so many places to eat. Bangkok especially is loaded with great restaurants from the fancy 800 baht per plate to the ones on a sidewalk with plastic stools. The street vendors are my favorite day to day usage for the most part. Travel safely.
Since you love Sephora, the biggest store in the world is in Kuala Lumpur city. Do come over ...

NYC is truly beautiful, I haven't been to Wallstreet though.
