I was gifted a Uni-Ball one p as a reward for my good grades a few years ago by my mom.. when that pen ran out of ink i practically died. Thank the Lord for JetPens, I wouldnt have gotten refills without them 😂❤Amazing products tho 😮

I didn’t know the uni ball I had was such a good pen💀 When I went to Thailand I waked straight to a stationary shop, and that pen caught my eye because it looked really cool (just collecting cool pens). I had a major discovery moment when I realised that pen’s ink, compared to other pens, didn’t reflect sunlight at the specific angle, and it also didn’t smudge as much on plastic paper surfaces. So I never used it ever again lmfao, saving it for special circumstances. Now I know it actually won an award lmfao

The detail that the ukanmuri clips don't damage the spine is phenomenal and true attention to detail and quality imo.

Every pen should have a 1.0mm option.

the mattehop gel pens are some of the most pigmented pens I've used with great payout, but they clog up too easily and end up scratching off the ink from paper- they need upkeep so keep that in mind hah

That eraser that picks up the dust is genius. I’d love that for art classes.

I was lucky. I ordered the pink book clip before they ran out. It’s really good. No pinching and damaging your paper.

Japan has so much unique and useful stationary watching your videos makes me want to go see what's physically out there if I could. Sigh.

WHAT. I have those Hitotoki stickers and had no idea the back peeled off for a full sticker! I thought they were more like a sticky note 🙈 Pretty hard to peel off, though!

I learned a trick for this! Put a piece of tape on the backing so a bit of the tape juts out. (You might want to burnish the tape with your fingernail so it sticks really well.) Now just grasp the bit that's jutting out and peel it back. It should easily peel the backing off along with it. So satisfying

Gonna need those thick grip pens. My hand does cramp when I write and I have a few thicker pens that I got from Jetpens and really enjoy them, but they stay at home. I want one to bring with me to work for the few times I need to write something.

when you’re signing a contract in japan they remind you not to use a frixxion pen! i’ve heard you can make the text reappear by putting it in the freezer though

@@monicafarrell6684 yes, putting it in the freezer will help the ink reappear, but for some colors it does not reappear at the same intensity. Also, when it reappears, anything you had erased and written over reappears too. So if you wrote an appointment on the calendar, rescheduled it, erased it and moved it to another date, when it reappears you have both dates on your calendar. Or, if you spelled something wrong, erased it and rewrote it, all the writing reappears, which looks like a mess. Yep...speaking from experience. 😂🤣 But I LOVE LOVE LOVE FriXion pens!! and I can't manage the family calendar without them.

Watching this video reminds me of getting brand new school supplies. There is a 'je ne sais quoi' happy factor about watching it. Uni Kuru Toga Alpha Gel Switch should have gotten a mechanical pencil award. The mighty Kuru Toga Engine, well-thickened Alpha Gel grip (Uni Alpha Gel pens and pencils are amazing, I love Alpha Gel grips), artist and sketcher-friendly Switch function... My favourite, but I couldn't buy it yet. My next stationery purchase will be that pencil. And Pilot Frixion Click series in black, blue and red. 😊

The frixion erasable pen is so cool. We had a facilitator pass them around for an activity. When they were leaving we all asked if we could keep the pen or if we had to give it back. Wish it came in a finer point. I prefer .3mm

The Pentel Mattehoppe pens are really nice, but I feel Jelly Rolls Moonlight are a good alternative!

Combine 2 award winners, multi pen and a frixion. The clear body FriXion multi pen is a dream. Comfortable in the hand, FriXion benefits, and because the body is clear you can use all the pretty ink colors! Orange. Pink. Burgundy. Ahhhh. Makes me SO happy!!

I’ve always loved Japanese notebooks and those new ones that lie flat are perfect!

One of my favorite pens right now is the Gelly Roll Souffe pens. Very similar to the Mattehop and come in more pastel-ish colors..

Love the SunStar book clip, I'm thinking I need a few for cook books.

I love Pentel gel pens; I’ve used them since I was in junior high in the late 1990s. They used to be easier to find in stores in the US back then. For several years I didn’t find them other than on Amazon, however I have found them in some stores more recently (such as Hobby Lobby). I haven’t found the hybrids yet, however have Milky, Solar, Krazy, and Sparkle. I have some Piolet Frixion pens too.

My EDC at work is the Pentel EnerGel Infree 0.5 mm. It's so comfortable and easy to write with!

I have a few Energels. I’ve loved Pentel gel pens in general since the late 1990s when I was introduced to them in junior high. I have other brands as well.

I found a uniball pen that someone had dropped in the lecture hall. It was really nice, and wrote very smoothly.

My only complaint about frixion pens is that if you live somewhere warm like texas then what you write on pages will fade. Tried to go back over some stuff i wrote a few years ago and the journal was practically blank

Lamy Safaris are absolutely not underrated. They are one of the most popular fountain pens, particularly since they're so affordable.

0:32 These Pentel Mattehop is nothing new. I bought very similar pens six years ago in Action store. These pens had no brand, were veeeery cheap and as I believe, came from China's manufacturer. I use them even today. They are called "chalk pens" because of the design - just like these Pentels, they dry and change color to something lighter. They are amazing to write on black surfaces, white ones of course too. So, as much as I love Pentel, they didn't invent anything new, Chinese were first. 😅

I recently got one of the limited edition Uni-ball One P pens (Bath Bomb, Savon color) from Kinokuniya, and I can’t stop pressing the clicker. It has such a satisfying click! About the only downside is that my pastel zig color dot markers will effortlessly smudge the Uni-ball One ink. 🥲 (To be fair, those markers easily smudge a good number of inks.)
