It's an unavoidable fact that if you watch the series with Angus and those after that the dynamics changed. He was a key part of that...not judging how matters unraveled but he was an excellent presenter

As good as he was, I think his removal was part of the reason why the show is still going. The different host every week keeps the show fresh. It would be nice if he still hosted from time to time.

The joke would still get made, but they'd use the correct term ('transgender woman', rather than 'transsexual', which is outdated & only used in porn now).
