Grace was inevitably one of the kindest, most genuine characters around. It was extremely sad to see her leave, especially when her and Rich were finally becoming something incredible.

People say Effy was an original and non-stereotypical character. I personally disagree. Yes she was erratic and rebellious but very much a stereotype imo. I found characters like Grace and Cassie much more original and also more complex.

tigereyes5 definitely, Gracey was super raw. She was divided between her conservative family, her party hard friends. But she always did what she wanted. No matter how dorky her hobbies were, or how much of a weirdo the guy she liked was. I loved Effy in season 1. But season 2 effy was just too angsty and dramatic.

I never got the deal with Effy either. She plays the stereotypical 'cool' girl who deliberately alienates herself from the people who love her and is horribly rude to them as well because she thinks she's so 'original'. Like Anna Kendrick's character in Pitch Perfect and Bella Swan in Twilight. I agree that Cassie and Grace are far more complex and likeable. I also feel Pandora gets overlooked a lot as well.

I feel like for Effy, if they kept her this like detached cool girl through all of the third season and showed her trauma in her episode (more like what they did with gen 1) and then in season four had her meet someone she loved and had the push and pull happen then, it would've been so much better. But they reduced her character to "the girl everyone falls in love with" immediately at the start of gen 2 and it was so boring and got ridiculously stupid with the murder thing.

Everyone's complaining about how she was the one to die, and even though yes it was sad to be honest I think it was one of Skins' way of showing how life isn't fair- she was the nicest, happiest, most innocent, had good grades, loving family and boyfriend etc- yet it just goes to show how short life is and how these things sometimes happen anyway to the people who often deserve it the least

noxstalgia but the difference between Grace dying and Freddie and Chris is that we got to see them through out their generation we got to see them grow up a little and by the time they both died their generations were almost complete. With Grace tho we only got to see part of her interactions with her generations which made her death extremely sad because she had a lot left to offer as a character (I apologize for any grammer and spelling mistakes and also I am not trying to say that the other two are not important or anything like that)

Grace and Rich are adorable. I love that she didn't like him cutting his hair. She liked him for how he was and how they were different. He loved her back and its so funny how at first he kinda hated how she was. An actual love story I can get behind and appreciate...RIP Grace

They kill of my favorite character EVERY SINGLE SEASON. First Chris, then fucking FREDDY, and then Gracie. Skins just loves to break your heart.

@@GNVS300 Idk I disagree I mean everyone could have been nicer to JJ but Freddie was the only one there for him when he would get “locked on” like in the pyjama party episode everyone is just partying but JJ is in the corner having a breakdown. It speaks volumes that the first person he called was Freddie and he came straight away.

Grace was such a beautiful person.

Grace and Rich's relationship was so cute 😭😭😭

Even though I loved grace so much, the scenes with rich watching the videos of her was so beautiful. The whole last season was how everyone dealt with grief. Grace was truly beautiful on the outside and in.

Such a beautiful and unique character in all of the Skins generations. No one is like her, and the relationship with Rich was pure and incredible

all the years later and i still come back to this cos Grace’s character was truly perfect. Skins’ storylines are so underrated.

if franky died instead, it actually would have fixed the entire series. franky dies + mini is a lesbian = Gen 3 fixed.

Oh, I really love Mini and Alo’s chemistry. I think it would have been good to show a “Bi” side of mini, they did the whole popular girl+weirdo with Rich and Grace. But Alo’s character development was amazing thanks to his relationship with mini. Franky on the other hand.../

Grace and Freddie's death were overkill and made very little sense and gave nothing to the stories. The only death that worked was Chris's. I feel like the unnecessary deaths had always put me off from the story.

I think it was an even worse call because after Freddie died it became known as a cliche for Skins. When I was watching the third-gen I went in thinking someone was going to die and also guessed it was going to be a person who ends up falling in love, because the character who dies is always the one in love and typically, one that's typically the comic relief or is the "best" person in their group.

Shaki Graces death was one of the saddest for me because she was innocent and had a sweet personality, But her death was meaningful. Her death represented how life is un fair and that many people who die often deserve it the least.

I get what your saying but you have to remember nearly in all generations you always hear about the death of a young teen. Maybe they should have switched it up a bit and and not do the exact death plot where they are in love ect...

grace is my favorite character because she is positive, kind , etc.., she take care of her friends and this is amazing all the effort than she put for that. for me, she was the best in this generation 5. She was so beautiful and pure...idk I felt Season 6 would be better if the baby storyline went to Rich and Grace and Mini got the lesbian thing developing further with Franky. Nick and Matty's brother-brother storyline would be panned out better and Alo could have his own to deal with.
