I watched Tiger King because Netflix insisted. Your hard hitting interviews have unearthed the most shocking detail I didn’t get from the show...Joe Exotic didn’t do his own singing?! My trust is shaken. Was nothing true in this documentary?! Well except that Carol Ducking Baskin killed her husband!

I think everyone was biased about Jeff Lowe, yeah he has some scummy traits and a sketchy past but, he's pretty spot on when being interviewed and I actually enjoy his outlook on things outside of the show itself. Just me though....

Dude the documentary clearly shows Joe's reasons for getting into the business was for the love of the animals. Jeff's was only because he wanted to use the animals to get laid and make money. It's clearly Jeff who is shown as the animal abuser. *4.* If Joe "abused" the Staff, how come he had so many employees who even @ the very end vouched for the fact that Joe was a decent guy & just misguided & had lost it due to financial pressure?? And director hat dude said he could get into the studio if the park manager let him in, so he was going in there.......and the surveillance video sure looked like him, and they sure had a lot of old footage.....🤔🤨

Maybe his tapes aren't all burned at all. The fire was a blessing for Joe, and the director got to leave the Zoo at which he was so miserable. I mean - why didn't the director do what Netflix did?

There isn't releasing big cats or most other animals into the wild which have been brought up by humans. They rely on people for food and probably would be easy prey for hunters if they don't starve first. You can't train a cat to hunt somewhere it never has been to, where it doesn't know what to eat, where to hunt, where to mate, because those are things it has to learn on location so to say. You can't train a cat to hunt or survive period if you bring it up in a cage or likewise controlled environment. If you take in a hurt wild animal for example and are looking to release it back into the wild the most important thing is to have as minimal human animal contact as possible. This is me talking as a professionell animal care taker. This is a job you have to take three years of training and education here in Germany to perform and Carole Baskin just let's random people look after the cats. The other places are not better in this regard either but at least the employees get paid and they have names their bosses know. The quality of the living conditions of the animals you take care of is directly tied to quality of employees you have for those animals. Places who rely on people volunteering mostly don't mind quality but quantity. ...rant over. Sorry...
