So happy for you. Your comment made my heart smile ❣️ Glad that the Lord Jesus created such a wonderful moment for your enjoyment. Good to read that life can still be enjoyed, simply. Especially in these unprecedented (and last) days in spacetime. But remember, this is just temporary. The Truth of an eternal and peaceful life is upon us, and always has been, if we accept the Truth of Christ in the Word of God. Be well, be love, beloved. (Edited for His glory ✝️)

When I was a little girl, I hated Chopin's nocturnes and ballads. I thought he was depressed and sad in everything he composed, which thwarted my joie de vivre as a kid. Now that life has made me mature a bit more, I appreciate his work deeply and feel emotions I have never felt before. I believe he reveals a deeper side of our existence, by allowing us to transcend our pain.

I am sitting in Bethlehem South Africa, by the bedside of my 96 year old mom. She is too weak to chew or talk and struggles to swallow. I live far away and came because I was notified about her deterioration. Yes she is old and weak but deserves that her dignity and quality of life be preserved until the end. Family resent me for “causing drama” to ensure she gets enough liquids etc. We feed her water, juice and liquid sustenance with a syringe between feeds. She is too weak to have a feeding tube fitted - it should have been done earlier. I can only imagine the discomfort that people like her may experience because of dehydration. She always loved Chopin. My phone is next to her head on the pillow so that she can be soothed by Chopin while she is slowly passing. Thank you for this collage. You mean more to her during the last days or hours (who knows which?) of her life than any words can say. It is also soothing my crushed heart. May you be blessed.

Something about Chopin's music... It cannot be described with words. It's a lyrical masterpiece. A poem. A story. Unforgettable melodies that linger in your head like memories that cannot be placed. So melancholy, so beautiful, so simple. Chopin will always be my favorite composer because of this. It's not structural, but instead it has many different flowing parts, repeating motifs, and changes that add to it's magical, dreamlike beauty. - A wistful classical music nerd

Of course not. I love Beethovens music, but particular pieces I like more than others. This is the same for Bach's music. Yet, I cannot think of a single one of Chopin's pieces I've heard that I've had any feeling of nuetrality to less toward. I have no idea how he could think to compose these pieces. Does he simply consider a melody, a key signature first? Brilliant.
