That’s not the Christopher Ward logo. It’s just crosses innit.

It's a Royal Oak with a Christopher Ward type dial. All watches a derived from each other in some ways...

Mate the Cronos is a homage of the Zenith Defy Skyline, not a CW...instead of having the crosses on the dial concave and engraved as the original, it has them convex and raised, nowhere do I see traces of the CW logo... but hey, that's IMO :) You should get it in the channel someday.

I would not spend $200 for that watch. These NH 35 watches are basically all the same. I go movement first, case second.

Love the chronos. Nothing like cw. Beautiful dial. Get it on the show man.

Maybe rename this to a list of June watches I wont be getting, reviewing, dont convince me or are overpriced as per your comments

Baltany hour hand looks like a spade to me maybe my mind is not as prone to foulness as yours seem to be.

The Cadisen looks good but has 3 major issues 1. White dial variant is unavailable and won’t be available again until August ? 2. For a “dive” watch it has almost non existent lume 3. Sloppy bezel…. I’m hopeful the next batch in August is screwed together with a bit more care. Here’s to hoping…..

4. Terrible clasp. Also, it was not easy to replace it, the milled lower cannot be removed from the final joining link of the bracelet, so I had to re-use the milled lower with a new milled on-the-fly adjustable upper. At least it works fine this way, and improves the bracelet X1000. Pros: thinner by 3mm, nice bracelet, love the fat hands and color (even though it's a Helm copy).

3:30 Guanqin ALWAYS lies about the sapphire crystal.

Cadisen Aqua Diver is cool for summer, and with the right offer very cheap too

Proximon will definitely love it.!

Baltany hand looks like a heart to me. I like it, as it big size, means lots of lume.

That Cronos looks amazing, but I agree about the CW looking design on the dial. I hope they bring out a different dial design on it..... Imagine that watch with a sunburst dial or even a meteorite dial...

The best watch I've seen you review lately is the three-hander SN0129. I'm not sure if it was a June release, but it was a beauty. Great recap, thank you!

The Cronos (currently on my wrist, by the way) is a mix of a Zenith Skyline (what Cronos call it, by the way) with a touch of Royal Oak (the screws on the bezel) and a dial texture somewhat inspired by that on the CW twelve (except it's a/ different and b/ so tiny you need a macro lens to realize that the texture comes from sort of embossed plus signs, at normal distance it looks like clous de Paris). It's a gorgeous piece and very well made, but whatever floats your boat... But seeing it as a copy of the CW is like saying that the CW is a copy of the Zenith which is a copy of the AP...

Wasn’t mentioned here but the new Rmalti 44gs homage looks class as well

With your new relationship with CW I can see why a 12 "Homage" review might not be appropriate. Some of those watches are competing, on price at least with the swatch group, a bit unrealistic.

I have that Proxima and a San Martin on the way. Funny thing, I ordered the San Martin first and two days later the Proxima. The Proxima shipped next day but seven days later the San Martin is still just sitting there. It's my first San Martin so question: do they always ship this slowly?

That bronze Steeldive is a clone of the Zelos Abyss (and is about 1/3 cheaper on the SD website). Steeldive also have a bronze clone of the Hammerhead as well as a couple Pontvs watches. There is a bronze SKX looking beasty that would be cool for your SKX alternative(s) video.

I already know the Cadisen watch is thinner than the real Helm watch. And the Guanqin Diamond is back, or maybe I should say drill bit? 😄 Oh, and I've seen a Sea-Gull Tourbillon in a watch video lately that cost $ 50,000!

Too bad you won’t review the Cronos. My Skyline just arrived, and, well, it is shockingly good. I had no plans to buy it, but the price on bracelet this last sale was worth a try. Also, fun Easter egg - the 6 “screws” on the bezel have hourglass shapes in them, like the logo.

Oh, did you already get your (Blood) Orange SN0116? Lucky! I pretty much impulse bought it after seeing it posted on the ChineseWatches subreddit. Discovered it on the final day of the June sale, too. Can't wait to get it in my hands and on-wrist.

Crazy prices for crappy seiko movements no matter how fancy the cases are. I have quite a few Addiesdive, PD and Watchdives (and am very happy with them) but there is no way I will ever pay more than £100 for any Aliexpress special...

Wow a Chronos 11.5, that is very very near. Mind you the Proxima comes close with the case, just the dial which I could describe as petri dish culture (ok a bit of a pithy description but let's go with it😂) both watches look fantastic for the money. Actually nearly got that Proxima during the sale but as I'm saving up for a Sealander I've let it go (already got a 12 so a big CW fan) and I've no issues nowadays with hommages, it's part of the furniture. Personally think that skeleton Seagull is the most compelling, looks great value and maybe my 1st foray into that genre of watches and not a wallet buster to boot. Cheers Gary.

That Cronos looks great and I think you only saw the dial, but hands, markers, case,and bracelet are very different, so I think you were just having a bad moment and where not on the right set of mind to think about watches. Hope you are better now. Now I know why you never talked about the cronos Bathyscaphe watch.

It looks like stMartin makes stunning watches with very good specs. I never buy one though because I just can’t get used to that logo.

The bezel on that Cadisen Aqua Diver is awful, so loose and sloppy. Fix this and give it better lume and it could have been good.

For the price it's still better than "pretty good", there isn't another watch out there like it (other than the Helm which you can't get). The clasp on the Cadisen is way worse than the bezel action. A shame, because the watch itself is an improvement over the Helm with regard to thickness, lug design, and wearability (and of course, price and availability).

@@edwardsjohnpaul I forgot about the clasp, that's not great either but at least that can be swapped out. I sent mine back purely because of the awful bezel. Why can't they do what Helm does and have 3x locking bezel prongs instead of just the one on the bezel plate?

Proxima Breaking Bad dial is interesting

Those aren't accurate steel dive prices, they go for a fraction of that price all year and less during sales. These are not new models. I've had the skx copy for a couple years now, it was my first Ali Express watch I think. Fantastic watch, the only thing I don't like about it, is the blue dial has a tinge of purple color in it and I prefer a proper blue. I also find the etched case backs to be a little sharp on my sensitive wrists.

The Cadisen not Helm is not great. The dial looks small but the case is thick and it’s the worst bezel I’ve ever held.

Well the baltany does say "cockeyed" in the description 😂

I might buy the Cadisen/Helm homage. I would just buy a Helm. But seeing as I can't.... 🙄

To me the dial pattern is more of a weave pattern. The CW logo is noticeably different, being a pair of positive and negative crosses side by side. But, if in the past he has had issues I can understand. Those headaches aren’t worth it. Trademark issues can get ridiculous. Even though I usually respect Lewis Hamilton, the idea of him suing Hamilton watch company was so stupid, he should have been forced to pay treble their legal costs just in general principle.

Yeah, that Cronos watch is very slightly cheeky with the dial texture. The dial texture is an identifiable part of the CW brand. Homage is a fine art indeed.

I bought the San Martin gada and then realized what the heck am I doing. A seiko is a far better watch and it’s not a homage copy that I foolish for wearing. Buy a citizen or a seiko and avoid looking foolish

@@justinbowe38 The dial on the gada was beautiful and the polishing was very nice. At the end of the day it’s a copy and I felt foolish for wearing such a highly polished copy. The gada is a specific copy of a Swiss made Mido. The hour markers on the dial were not lined up as well. Inferior product imo. Agree, the polishing was nice and shinny
