R rated comedies need to make a comeback. the first intelligently written, non-correct-overly-tested "for all audiences" comedy that is released, will make a fortune. and then all the suits making safe choices will wake UP and start greenlighting comedy for ADULTS again. Cue Apatow.

I loved that movie!!!

Wicked Little Letters: may be worth a viewing. And Garfield for the little boy in me. ( Looking back at that I am not sure it is implied that I do not eat small children, now or ever.) ( Not with a nice Chianti, nor even when they are parboiled, sauté and covered in cheese.)

@@timberwolf27 My first thought was 'That is not Will Ferrell!' The animation seems cheaper and more simplistic. It's like a modern day straight to DVD.

Too bad Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate (or Megamind 2) will tank due to Will Farrell not being back, so disappointing. They over-reached by doing the movie and a series all at once, then stepped in a steaming pile by not getting Farrell. Sucks when companies see $$$ over all else and ruin what could have been spectacular (and make them more money in the long run). Once this flops, they will have nothing left to continue with.

The world is a sad and lonely place. People are struggling in every day. While other people are getting by and never doing a single thing to help anyone. So I don't care if the movies are just light Cotton candy b s. If they make people forget. Their problems and their challenges For a couple hours comma that's all they need to do. Some people like high brow stuff and there's plenty of that. And some people love silliness. Some some of these look like fun. Especially anything that Jim from the office invented. I'm sure those of you that want something stronger than decafe Can find some good serious films. Meanwhile I very much need to laugh. And nothing makes me laugh more than minions. I was in the hospital for a few days a couple of years ago period when I got out of the hospital comma a friend came to get me period we stop for some good old fashion junk food at mcdonald's. I'm internally grateful that they were having happy mealsand that I could get minions. They were talking minions by the way. I stopped at McDonald's any time. I could talkmy ride into doing that which usually meant buying him a big mac. Very easy. I cannot tell you how much. I laughed over the stupid plastic figures that would talk. Am I forgot what they said. But I love dominions and having my own little minions to take home. Really cheered me up after being in the house it's been. So much so that I don't even remember what I was in the hospital for. 🎉.🎉🎉
