In this video you will learn one of the basic movements on the rope and how you can apply it. This pattern will end up increasing your mobility and fluidity in your body which will end up aiding in any aches or pains that you might feel. It's a natural movement pattern that most of us are not taking advantage of. Tim walks us through a similar pattern where we don't even need a rope so that we can reap the benefits from this movement wherever we are. Try it out and let us know how you feel!

This is wild....yesterday I was running a trail twice as far as I have run all year, over two hours, and towards the end my stride was getting short and tight. Instead of stopping to stretch my legs, I loosened my shoulders and started using this figure 8 pattern (not having ever heard of it before today). Voila my legs loosened felt 100% better and I finished with a big smile. I love how ideas coelesce for us in parallel....

The figure 8 pattern in the hips is the foundational weight shift for stability and power transfer we use in Aikido (and probably other martial arts). I do very similar movements with the Jo or short staff- Thanks for the rope version!

Great share. Thank you brothers. I’ve been practicing with the Rope for the past 6 months or so now and have found huge benefits with it. Tim’s courses are excellent his ability to teach and help his student understand through use of metaphors and precise instruction are phenomenal. I highly recommend anyone who is thinking about it to take that thought and act on it. Happy Flowing.

I've been flowing for about 2 months now. It's sounds silly, but I get emotional thinking about it. I'd rather be flowing, slowly and deliberately than sitting for a bit during lunch break at work. I wish I knew about this when I was younger, in the service. It has activated my spine which translates to more efficient rucking, I can cover more ground with a weighted pack comfortably (since I'm 76 pounds lighter).. my forearms are jacked, shoulders are much stronger and better defined and I don't do much weight training. Love the way of the rope.
