For me, a single 32 inch with a USB C connected to my mac. I like it simply minimalist. Single wide monitor reduces lots of distraction.

I've been subscribed for some time now. Always good content! Thank you! I have 2 setups. My work setup has a 32-inch LG front and center, with a 25-inch Dell in portrait mode on my left side, and a 25-inch Dell in landscape mode on my right side. My personal setup has 2 x 27-inch Dell monitors: one front and center, and the other to my left side at a slight angle toward me.

Great review on the BenQ GW2790QT! I'm curious if you'd recommend this monitor for someone who primarily works within a browser to run their business, with occasional use of Canva and Photoshop, but no video editing involved. Would it suit these needs well?"

I enjoyed the take on exercise regimens - anything will work if one sticks to it! I have a Dell Precision laptop from 2013, and a Latitude from 2016, with 1080p and 720p displays, respectively. I can read my code on the latter if I blow the font size up enough... 🙂

I use a Samsung 24" monitor that I probably had for 10 years now as my center display. I had always thought about upgrading but never made the jump to do it. Besides that, I just use my 16" laptop on the side as a 2nd monitor. 2 monitors always seemed to be enough for my needs but more real estate for the center display would definitely be appreciated.

I usually set up my 24" monitor next to my laptop, but end up using the laptop more. Although the monitor has adjustability it takes a long time to set up properly. I just bought a monitor stand and realized that I was going to need a new monitor since the old one is quite heavy. I was searching for eye care monitors since I am programming and staring at the screen for almost 10 + hours now and this video appeared just in time.

Before that i tried an ultrawide montior at tech store and fell in love with it. So, i do prefer ultrawide monitor 29" 2560x1080 or 34" 3440x1440 for coding and live preview. Currently i use single 22" 1080p monitor and it's not enough. Sometimes i do open up 2 window side by side in the IDE and it gets really crowded. I'm not employed right now and can't afford UW monitor. i'm going to buy one soon as possible

Thanks for sharing. I will be on the hunt for a monitor here in the next year. I went back to school and replaced my MacBook that was slowing down. Then I realized I don’t know enough about both worlds to translate everything to my Mac when I’m studying something in windows, ie keyboard shortcuts and working in the terminal. So I bought a PC and have it hooked up to a dinosaur monitor from around 2009. I was given a computer around 2016 when I was teaching. It was from 2009, so already old at that time. The PC died a couple years ago and I just went without. I won’t do that again. I’m just happier when I have a home PC. It sure is ugly. haha But I’m already putting on debt to have an ideal scenario at home. (No worries, I’m responsible with good credit, we’ll make it 😂) So anyways, it looks like maybe 27, but maybe smaller I didn’t measure it. I played with settings, but you can’t make much of it. Sigh. But the next big purchase of an ideal monitor will be researched and I’ll watch for sales like I normally do. The PC was easy bc when I narrowed down optical drive and a couple other items, the search results were minimal. Boom, done. Monitors though, that’s overwhelming to me at the moment.

I have a 32 inch monitor on top of a monitor base with the laptop sitting on the desk centered. Since the monitor is raised I have it arranged on top in the Mac Displays so I can move the cursor vertically between screens. I do all my coding in the 32 inch monitor and use the mac screen as a secondary display that I can fully dim when not needed.

Cardboard boxes and real books raise the level of any keyboard. What about those mini-projectors? The screen is not on the desk.

Tried multiple setup, two monitors, then one monitor and side by side laptop screen, somehow never got comfortable turning my head around all the time, now one big monitor, with aquasnap, works perfectly. Great video btw.
