Those IC sprayers are actually pretty good. Evaporative cooling works on the same principles of why we sweat. I noticed a considerable differance in my old WRX swapped GC with an JDM OE IC Sprayer set up in the summers

The play is from bushings in the actual shifter. Supposed to be brass or plastic bushings where u just installed the shifter

If you want to replace your E brake for a nicer one... Just search in malaysia and look for the satria GTi or wira SE one... Its nicer and beefier and its plug and play to your evos stock armrest...

You might try the dsm 3d creations gear selector bushing. They tend to wear over time, causing that play. It's a good replacement option.

Check for a MIRAGE hand brake should be pretty similar if not the same and you should have some at the us strapwards @captwo6

You can't get them for the 6 speed, theres bush kits for the cable and console that's about it

Same thing happen to mine, it take me a few months finding all over junkyard at my country to find the original and good condition one.. There is after market one but it just a waste of money to buy it.. Sorry my English is garbage Regard from Asia 🙌

Check your IG DM's, just sent you a dropbox link to an archive of a lot of Evo info+manuals.

I really want to import a number of cars, but the issues you laid out in the beginning always leads me to eventually bail on the idea. Getting parts for cheap and timely seems to be an issue, and not one I want to deal with.
