As quite a few people have asked where I got the screen, and how they can get their hands on one. The unit is from Russia, and is currently unavailable at this time, however once the sanctions have been lifted, I may be offering a service to have this done. There will be a deposit of £200 to secure your unit, which is the purchase price from Russia, along with import tax etc. and then a fitting charge if needed, where you would supply your dash, and then my dad will fit them, as he completed mine. Hope this answers some questions!

If I can get my hands on an example, I should be able to design a clone an open-source it so people can either build their PCB as a kit or buy pre-built ready to install. I'm an electronics and software design engineer by day. Do you have a link to the Russian site?

Nice showcase of the MFA Mod outcome. Did you do it yourself or send it off to someone to solder in? I'd reccomend dropping the volume of your interlude music the match the level of when you're talking though, blew my ear drums out with earphones in haha

I’m still playing with the levels of the microphone to get it just right, but I apologise for scaring you!😂 So my dad did all of the soldering for me, and he used the video shown in the description on how to install it👍

This looks insane. My dash is perfect in my Mk1 but I want one……….

The only thing that bothers me, is that for some reason, the Low oil warning doesn’t show up on the screen like it would on the oem one. It gives the warning sound but on the dash nothing appears.

This looks great, but just wondering - can you change the system colors? I love the concept, but wouldn't want to be stuck with a blue screen in a car with all-red gauges and interior lights

Oh yeah it’s fully customisable - I only use blue, because the car is blue 🚙
