How to make easy mint chocolate chip ice cream:
In a medium sized bowl, add 1 cup of milk (well-chilled) and 3/4 of a cup of sugar. Whisk together until the sugar is dissolved. Then add two cups of cold heavy cream, 1-2 teaspoons of peppermint extract and a few drops of green food coloring. Mix together again. Turn on your ice cream maker and add the mixture into the freezer ice cream bowl. Mix for 20 minutes then without stopping the ice cream maker, add 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and mix for another 5 minutes. Scoop the ice cream into a container and freeze overnight.
