I have multiple trayvax wallets that I love, yet I have 2 go tos for minimalist wallets. The Akeeni Xsto and the Decadent Minimalist. I like to switch up my wallets lol.

Just saw your video. I bought the armored version of this last year. I am kind of a wallet nut. I purchase one just about every year, but this is the first year I feel like I don’t need to. This wallet is a dream. I found your channel, to show a friend (since I compare mine to others) a little more about it and the difference between armored and non-armored. Small, discreet, and extremely functional. I found that the little circle for a chain, though I don’t use it for that, works really well for a go to screw driver for larger screws. Something I find myself using more often than I ever realize. Especially if I don’t want to walk all the way to the garage for the tool. The durability of this thing has been phenomenal and it might be a few years before I get bored and move on. The only issue is that it is just too handy to move on easily. My expectations for wallets has gone up three fold because of the armored version, and there are few, if any that meet my qualifications now. Good review, and you have a solid subscriber from me.

Agreed! I love that wallet. Been using the contour for about 4-5 months now. About to do a review on it. I’m not sure which wallet I like most...the contour or armored...Appreciate you sharing my video- can use all the support I can get. thanks for subscribing!!!🙏

I ordered a trayvax wallet last night and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were sending me the summit for free as a promotion. Before hitting the order button I googled it and found your video. After watching your video I ordered the armored plate for $12.99 so now I will receive a very good wallet as back up to my regular wallet from trayvax. And if you can add it to your description that they do military and first responders discount that’d be great. Thank you for the video.

Great review. I have 4 Trayvax wallets. Had 5 but gave away the axis to a friend. Which wallet do you like better the armored summit or that OG that you showed at the end? I have contour, element, ascent and now armored summit. Usually like to have some leather, but I’m intrigued by this summit

I’ve been using the contour for the past 6 months or so...I love it because of the leather but I really dig the armored summit...it’s so compact.

It’s a good wallet had it for 1.5 years and it did well. I love having a minimalist wallet no question However there were a few occasions were my debit card fell out when I had my keys in my hand, but I always noticed it and would pick my card up....however ONE time my debit card fell out and I didn’t notice it and I had to get a new debit card. After that I bought their premium wallet ( the one with leather and all that) and I LOVE it can’t say enough good about it.

I have that one now...been using for 6 months or so...the contour....love it...appreciate the comment.

I received this same wallet when I bought the Axis wallet. The only thing I don't like about the Summit, is once you remove a card, it's easier for the others to fall out. There's nothing to keep them in like the Axis or other models from Trayvax.

Does the piece to make the wallet armored summit comes with it or do u get it separate?

You order it separate. I picked it up on Amazon. It’s still made and shipped through Trayvax. It’s an awesome little wallet. I just picked up the Trayvax Contour wallet. I’ll be doing a review on that one next week. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, no - and let me tell you - In my opinion- it’s way better with the armored plate. Without it, the strap that secures the cards, will actually bend the cards a bit....nothing crazy or permanent...however the plate prevents that plus it adds the RFID protection. I carry the armored summit every day! It’s compact and keeps my EDC light...really love that thing. Just a quick tip: I ordered my armored plate through Amazon - I wanted to see if the order arrived quicker than ordering from the Teayvax website....I feel like it did. Probably because they want good ratings on Amazon - I feel like they may prioritize Amazon orders first...Just my speculation and opinion! Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@midlifebjj Thanks! I just ordered the armored plate as well from Amazon, I feel the cards are also too bare without the armored plate. Seeing as how the cards come out fairly easily when pushing through the armor plate window, this seems to be very easy to use. BTW which wallet did you order that this came free with? Just curious. I ordered the Element which I received just this weekend and am blown away by the quality of the leather. I can see myself using the armored summit however when going and doing outdoor adventures as to not get the element leather dirty.

Man…I didn’t catch your question about which wallet I ordered. Apologies. I ordered the Original 2.0. I ended up giving it to my dad for Father’s Day this year. He loves it and said he’s always asked about it when he pulls it out to pay. I love the Armored Summit. Particularly the minimalistic design. The only thing I’ve found challenging is carrying more than 5 bills in the money clip…to be fair, Trayvax indicates the number of bills and cards you can fit in this wallet on their website so it’s my fault. Again, still love the wallet but, to combat the cash issue, I’ve decided to order the Contour wallet from them. It should be here in a couple of weeks. I’ll soot a video and post here on the channel. Can’t wait to get that wallet! Are you still enjoying yours?

Every free summit I’ve received with purchase of my other wallets, has had that piss yellow strap lol. I’m guessing it’s the least ordered color, and they’re trying to use it.

They dont sell the colored straps, they only sell the camo drab colors. The bright color ones only come with the free ones and you get them by random. I did the same also, i ordered multiple times last year and they sent a free summit, but surprisingly i got one of each color. If you dont like your yellow strap they sell those replacement straps in drab colors.

Too bad they don't ship to Singapore because that would be an absolute nobrainer.
