I am just getting into Epoxy. I’m a card maker, and I used to have a store so I have so many supplies to get started with. I’m so excited!
Just as a follow-up to my comment, I bought the DecoColor gold premium and absolutely love it. I use it as an accent to my polymer clay ornaments. To heck with the gold clay, lol.

Thank you for this!! I just went to order my decocolors and saw they have rose gold too!! So excited 🤩
Thank for sharing. I needed a good metallic pens to paint borders on my resin coaster; so I purchased the one you recommended and so far I’m loving it.
yes! thank you! I want that same finish and what I tried simply didn't work as I wanted. I didn't want to waste money just doing so many tests so thank you for investing the time and money into testing all these and sharing it. much appreciated
Thank you so much for this! I was wondering which to get. Your art is gorgeous !
Thank you so much for your in depth review. It's very much appreciated . I was looking for a gold pen for using as accent on polymer clay. The DecoColor pen is what I will get. Thanks again.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to show us all the pros and cons. Was hoping you could help me. I used the same exact pen in the metallic silver and waited hours, I noticed it easily scratches right off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

thank you so much for this video, just what I was looking for. I am going to do resin dominos and wanted to know the best metallic pen or paint to use for the dots and center line of the domino. You have done my homework for me, thank you, thank you.

This is great! Thank you! Do you have any knowledge around which pen/pen brand I should use to write on a surface of acrylic resin protection, please?!!

I literally just bought some of these & came on for reviews I got the gold thin tip & silver chisel tip. One thing I noticed is you get A LOT more paint in the chisel tip compared to the thin tip pens. I was in a rush & wish I’d noticed because even though buying them at Walmart, they were basically 5 bucks a pop
I love the thickness of your coasters, can you share the link to the molds you used please?
Hi! I just came across your video and I LOVE your lipstick and Liner. Can you tell me what brand it is? Also, love all the info on markers.
Would love to see more tumbler tutorials as well as coasters but what i would reaaly like to see is a tutorial on glitter and resin clipboards. Ive only done 2 so far and i gota say im not liking this resin on flat stuff... just cant seem to get them perfect with them having issues getting the resin to stay around the edges therefore creating rough patches. I know practise makes perfect but im a little bit impatient haha
Thanks so much for sharing, have tried looking for those brands but I can't seem to find. I'm in the UK. X

Oh no! Maybe try to look online for the brands, also the Krylon metallic pens do the same. Or if not, try a gilding paint, those are beautiful as well just not as easy since you have to use a paintbrush. Thank you for watching! 🥰
Yeessss! Thank you so much for sharing your findings! LOVE your channel♡
Can you do resin over the paint pen to seal it in or will it run? I worry that the paint pens drawings will chip off
Thank you so much
Do you find that the metallic silver feels sticky even after it's dry on your resin coasters?
thanks 🙏 ❤️
My bezel released its gold colour after being in resin. Can I use these markers to colour them back again? Will it rub off?

It doesn’t come off since it’s oil based. I haven’t tried the Krylon one but it looks identical to the 2 other brands I like. I do want to try them still though! Thank you for watching! ❤️😄
With the pens and the paint, do they scratch off from wear and tear? I’ve found that anything I use it scratches off easily!
Thanks for this video, I needed it :D Also, how do you correct any imperfections or if you make a mistake with an oil-based marker?

Can we use epoxy over metalic pen lines
Hey Callie, thank you for the video! I recently used Decocolor Paint Markers (oil-based but non-metallic) on clear acrylic coasters. They look nice but the issue I'm facing is that when I put a hot mug/cup on the coaster and then lift it up after around 30-40 seconds, the coaster sticks on to the mug for some seconds. This is cos of the heat from the mug. Also, a biiit of the ink comes off from the coaster the first time I pick the mug up. Have you tried putting something hot on your coasters (with the oil-based ink) for a short while and then lifting it up? Does it stick?
@GlazedEpoxy
3 жыл бұрын
So I just tried this since I only used the pens on the side of the coasters so far, it did stick and transfer a little! It’ll try it again once the paint has a day to dry, but I would say do a flood coat on top of your markers, that way it won’t be a problem 😄 Thank you for watching!
@srishtibangar1564

@@GlazedEpoxy Ah ok. So I did spray them with Rustoleum 2X Ultra Cover and tried again - but the coasters were still sticking to the hot cup. The Rustoleum varnish spray isn't heat-resistant, I suppose that's why. If you ever find a good enough heat resistant varnish for such coasters, do share! Thank you!

You should just do a coat of epoxy over it, that should work perfect! 😄
Thank you for the video I really appreciate it. It's such a refreshing change to find someone who is willing to share their knowledge with fellow artist's. I'm loving your work. YOU'RE A STAR. Would I expect to get the same answers if drawing or writing on 'Glass'? I've been looking for a really thin nibbed metallic pen that can write and draw on glass and all black acrylic paint to be painted over them! I've enquired at so many channels but no replies! Take care and have a great week 👍😷👍🏴 SUBSCRIBED I'd be a fool not to.
Where can I get this from England
How is it that. I bought that exact marker first? At the end the gold winner!! Can I paint my mold with them an the resin pick it up
@GlazedEpoxy
3 жыл бұрын
Well then you already have the best one! Lol. I haven’t tried using the pen on the mold, I’ve done mica powder and that looks great! I’m sure the pen would work too, I’ll have to try it! Great idea! And thank you for watching! 🥰💕
This is so helpful, I'm looking to use them for calligraphy. Do they dry quickly on the resin or do you have to let them sit? I'm concerned about the ink rubbing off.
@GlazedEpoxy
3 жыл бұрын
So glad I could help! So they dry after like 10 min. If it’s on a cup or coaster that will be used a lot, I’d suggest doing a flood coat on top. If it’s for art or decor you shouldn’t need it, it doesn’t smear or rub off. 😄 Thank you for watching!

they have been hard to find, cause these are the most popular things within the reins community (at least ive seen on facebook), aswell corona is not making it easier for us :(
I bought the deco gold & silver pack but in Fine tip and they blob terribly. I love the paint inside so maybe better if you order a medium tipZ just a thought.

It’s pretty durable, but if you’re putting on the top of a coaster or something that will possibly be scratched off I would just do a clear coat of epoxy over it just to be safe 🥰
