The spider is called Harry. I got him for the summer bug season. Here in Australia they sell them at pet supply stores and they catch the flys that tend to hang around your face. They can't hurt humans, but they are wicked on flys. Best repellent ever.

What I've found is the reason the paystreak runs out no matter if you go up or down the river is because it's an ancient deposit from when the river flowed in a completely different direction because it was snaking around and went through the bed of the river at a different angle to how it flows today! So in theory if you follow the line from one side of the river to the other you will find it unless the high pressure has been powerful enough to wash the rest further down stream. People mostly think that the line of gold is going on the same direction as the the river but in different layers from when it's moving but if you watch before and after one big flood alone the coarse of the river can change completely and if you imagine hundreds or thousands of years of floods like that you have many routes where the river has snaked about. The best way to look at it is a plate of spaghetti with all the strands crossing over each other. I hope this helps you and anyone else who reads this! Put it into practice and make a video showing it and if I'm right give me some credit please 👍❤️💛💚

Hi Chris ! Fantastic video ! You guys found some awesome spots !! I think you should get back on the creek with the conglomerate bank. That's where the gold deposited anciently. The current creek might not have been in the same place thousands of years ago, so maybe a good chance more to be found. I apologize for not tuning in as often. Just been crazy busy. Best of luck to you next year, and keep the dream alive mate !!🤠👍💪⛏⚒

It's dry here in Arizona desert, they damn up all the waterways, so whoever goes out with me we put dirt in buckets & I pan it, they don't wanna! I brought a friend to my place & showed him what I dug up without a metal detector , about an OZ of Platinum in 1/3rd a bucket some raw silver & some chunky gold flakes...Many specimen rocks too! I was bedridden for almost a quarter century until a few years ago & now they can't stop me...good show matey

The closest place near me to fossick is over two hrs away near Oberon so it's hard to get out often. I'm actually lucky enough to be doing a road trip through Beechworth, Bendigo and Ballarat over the next week and a bit. I have a Jobe 10" sluice with legs, a Keene 6" sluice, an EZ sluice, Tom & ?(Massie brothers) cleanup sluice, 3 roll up pack sluices from Canada. We seem to have some fine gold to very thin flakes mostly though some nuggets have been found here. I'm wondering if I need to change the mats that came with the sluices to something else. I do have a Minelab Xterra 70 and a couple of old Bounty Hunter detectors and a cheap pinpointer.
