Does the lowbeam LED overheat inside that dust cover with no ventilation? I’m worried they will die quickly without drilling a few holes in that cover.

Does the xd xtreme led pro with drl driver work with 2021 limited with new headlights that have a sealed low beam led bulb?
Any issues with fitment with the gtr ultra 2 low beam on a 4Runner? Some have stated they needed to grind a couple tabs on the heat sink

Great video! Are the Xenon Depot Extreme DRL LED's still the best choice for the high beam and having a functional DRL? Wanted to know if they still had the top slot for the 4Runner. Thank you!

Yepp, for 4Runner we still recommend the XenonDepot LEDs or the Morimoto 2stroke 4.0 LEDs!

Does the Sylvania H11SLBX2 fit the LOW head lamp? It’s an H11 but the package saids Powersports or Fog use ONLY.

Any LED or HID bulb online will be marketing as a fog light/offroad use only. LEDs or HIDs in a halogen headlight are not considered DOT compliant. 🧠

If you have OEM Halogen then yes this is mostly the same, more likely you'll need the additional Anti-Flicker module. If you have 2023, make sure you don't have OEM LED before buying replacements.

Whats not street legal about what he showed? My Tundra has Rigid fog lights that are 3 times brighter than my LED high beams, and their DOT approved.
I’ve read that you shouldn’t put LED bulbs in stock halogen projectors. Is this fact or cap?

It really depends on the LED. Cheap, amazon LEDs are an absolute no-no! High quality bulbs, such as the ones featured in this video, are capable of re-creating the OEM beam pattern and are overall the best option.

Your truck does come with LED headlights, tail lights and fog lights. The high beams are probably not LED if it is like prior years.
Still waiting on 14 Tacoma led lights!!!

@@HeadlightRevolution would still be nice to see a comparison since the pros are at least suppose to be specific to the 4Runner orientation and size. They seem a bit nicer than last year's bulbs.

@@toyotabrony agreed. Their Plus line is what I’d aim for. The LA ones had a very nice pattern for my H11 application just wasn’t brighter than my previous Y13 Auxitos. Really would like to see both Auxito and Lasfit products featured on test at HR instead of what we know will be poor performing bulbs. From my experience Auxito, Fahren, Bevinsee and Lasfit make pretty good bulbs. The Bevinsee surprised me with the fit, very nice fit and the tabs were normal oem size instead of the mini tabs most LED bulbs have.
