Corinne! I'm a cricut girl and oh my gosh I'm so excited! For the last year I have been looking into home laser machines. After doing tons and tons of research I think I have settled on the 'we creat' and to see that you got one got me so pumped!! I'm going to be able to pull the trigger on this within the next two months or so along with the filter. The fact that you got one too and you're going to start making stuff has got me so excited! Honestly don’t get the filter. Vent out a window. The filter is awful!

@@CorinneBlackstoneis it really?? I did hear you say that your dog won't sit in the room with it because it's so loud. Is that why you don't like it? Have you tried just venting it out the window? Does it smell really bad that way or is it enough to just go out the window?

@@christinekranz4844 no I don’t like it because it doesn’t work. The whole house smells when you use it and it lets some smoke out when doing wood. It’s just not a good product. Venting out the window is absolutely the way to go with this machine

And not to obsess about this smell thing BUT when you vent it out the window do you find that there is very little smell or still a lot? (I have a 'cozy' house, so I'm concerned about the smell getting into everything and not leaving!😳😬)

​@@christinekranz4844 Of your going to blow it out the window, I'd recommend getting/making something to block the rest of the window opening, kinda like with those portable A/C machines, so you'll block some of the smoky air from just blowing back inside the open window. Lots of people also get an inline fan to help blow the air outside.

What file format does the software use? Also does the software save designs to my personal laptop or are you required to use the cloud like the glowforge?

This will save its own creat files to your desktop. You do not need a subscription to use it. It works with pretty much most files but in my experience so far best with SVGs

I like your video and just got my Wecreate and set it up. But I heard you say that your modem only has 5 ghz not 2.4. I find that very odd I work as an Engineer in IT. Every modem or wireless router has two bands 2.4 and 5 not just 5. Some older ones have just the 2.4. You should check your settings and see if the 2.4 was just disabled.

We can’t find it and our internet provider is absolutely useless. I wouldn’t even know where to find settings for it

Hi lovely How do you get inkscape to print things in actual size ? I've had trouble for a while. I thought it was me and not measuring things right, but I printed a 3x3 circle and its not coming out 3x3 any advice on how to get it to the actual size many thanks vicki x

Make sure your printer isn’t scaling your prints. Also be sure you have the right paper size selected both in inkscape and your printer

Will you be doing any acrylic videos? Im really interested in cutting acrylic but curious about the limitations with it. Also i cant get the discount code to work. I get an error.
