What kind of head do you have on the snare? I like that pop but I'm always too afraid too have mine that tight. Thinking it might be the heads themselves as well.

@@qbyrd0015 yo. It’s a Remo emperor black suede. A high pitched snare doesn’t always work for every song. It just depends on what the song calls for. I have side snare as well.

Do you have any tips for getting the mix right for the click track for in ears (click, the band and the singers) without having your ears blasting? This is what I notice with my own in-ears. I normally only get one send of everything and hope that the MD or engineer can send me more click so It doesn't get lost in the mix but they always end up just turning and adjusting in the process.
I listen to this working out at the gym.
