Within the first 1:30 I was already laughing at the “industry standard testing”. Lol. I love project farm and now you are my go to also.
I bought the Bosch. I like it since it uses the same battery as my cordless drill. Maybe not killing a bolt or nut, but it does work.
The Ingersoll rand he showcased was the W 7152. I own the original first generation W 7150 no need to upgrade
Video is very good. Not long ago, because I needed to buy a torque drilling rig of the Renhotecic brand, I used it for a while, and it felt very good to use. It is recommended that friends in need can try to prepare one.

I have the DeWalt 12v and love it. I have the entire series and for the homeowner it's perfect. It's not too heavy; I have 5 AH batteries(free from a Lowes promotion) is compact and doesn't take up a huge amount of room.

@@Oneklickmedia I was working on a lawnmower and I couldn't get the 3/8 to get the blade off but the 1/2 had the power. I want to say the 1/2" has 450 ft-lbs of breakaway torque so plenty for any lug nut that was torqued down unless you've got a 911 GT3 or they were put on with an impact and hammered on.
Thanks for not taking yourself too serious. :)
That milwaukee is a mid torque model. Milwaukee makes a full size 1/2" impact that's freaking insane

I was trying to find a battery impact to keep in my car, hopefully I could get one of these.
How did you measure the actual torque delivered?
The actual torque differs greatly from the box. Milwaukee is absolutely the best, but that in mind it's still about 100 ft lb short on fastening torque. The channel that tests this sort of torque is called "torque test channel"

That DeWalt 20v TP gag is no joke. I have one and the direction switch is mis positioned too close to the trigger finger making it all to easy to accidentally hit reverse. Also, the battery sometimes rattles itself off. Still, it gets the job done.

I've been running DeWalt drivers for 20 years. The Milwaukee is absolutely better in most ways but DeWalt is durable, reliable and strong enough to get the job done. It's also good for guys like me who have a million DeWalt batteries laying around. I also like Ridgid impacts

You missed the high torque Milwaukee and the Milwaukee M12 stubby (I think you got it and the M18 Compact confused there).
fun but useful information !!
What about the new ryobi that mow the wrench?
The ATG Gold 5K can do more than those mentioned. * Tribrid tools, i think it's the world's first * 700nm * jump start vehicle * charges cellphone, tablet & more
Very GOOD..DELIVERY...👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
You missed a lot of Big Box Store brands like Rigid's 1300/900 ft lbs on their 4 mode 1/2 drive impact. Rigid is nice because they have a lifetime warranty on their products AND their batteries.
Just got the m18 today had the m12 stubby but decided to upgrade the m12 is a beast but not like the m18
Quality is amazing
Was trynna find something comparable to the Ingersol at a better price point. I gotta break lug nuts all day
I was shopping for an air impact at Home Depot, and wasn't satisfied with the selection so I got the 1/2" Dewalt cordless. Holy Schmoly. I did good. I paid too much, though. I should have gone with Ryobi from the start. It's almost as good and cost much less.
I'm still waiting to see the best ones
What no Rigid??
The big DeWalt one shouldn't be compared to the others seeing as its a high torque impact wrench

m12 fuel holding an 18?
Lol I'm looking at all the brands of impact wrenches on the table. I would only buy one of those. The China one. Because the other brands make you sponsor a KZreadr unwittingly for buying a new tool. That's why Milwaukee is $500. You buy two tools, but one is secretly given away to a random KZreadr

Because they’re overpriced and not much better than the best listed here
Are you kidding me? They chose Dewalt as the 1/2 inch runner up? And why? It’s a pound heavier. Try hitting the gym, Urkel! They want more lights? Or better light placement? I bet if they shoved it up their Hershey highway there’d be plenty of light to spotlight Mr. Peanut. When you’re working in a shop you need all the torque you can get, so what if the light is poorly placed (subject to opinion) and it’s a little heavier (for you 98ibs. weaklings) ITS GOT TWICE THE BREAKAWAY TORQUE! And 3 speed settings for every application. In case you can’t tell I own one AND have used the Milwaukee and there’s no comparison. Except the price. I purchased my Dewalt at a few dollars below $200. If you want Milwaukee’s new heavy hitter (not the one reviewed but it’s badass bro) sporting 1400 ft lbs. of breakaway torque (200 more than Dewalt’s) you’re looking at around $400 big ones. So, $200 more for 200 more torques. While more torque is handy (the reason why I can’t believe Milwaukee edged out Dewalt) is it really worth it? BTW, noticed they’re using a 4 amp/hr battery instead of a 5 or 6. Much better results with a more powerful battery (obviously, and don’t get me started on the flexvolt 20v/60v 9amp batteries. They’re killer…)
Great Video! thanks

Milwaukee battery stick to far out the front
so how do you set these wrenches to a specific number when tightening lug nuts? like my vehicle requires nuts to be tightened at 140 lb ft or 190 NM, so how do i set the wrench to this setting to avoid under or over tightening?
@scottg1911
2 жыл бұрын
You don’t. You either torque with a torque wrench or you get a feel for what is tight with the gun but you’ll not know if you’ve tightened to 100 or 300 ftlbs without checking with a torque wrench
Huge missed opportunity to put Cooley as a video host 😓😓
This looked interesting and the host is a hoot but....at the end of the day...merely ranking tools off the often rigged Amazon ranking system is pathetic. However, yes...it is a brilliant way to collect $$$ as people click on the links provided.
WHERE'S THE FLEX???
Stop using the Freak in place of Boschs’ mid and high torque wrenches... especially the pro factor bi turbo, that thing beats up a lot of other pro level wrenches.

Milwaukee is a good tool but over rated… durofix is very underrated (not on the list) and it’s half the size with 369ftlbs Tightening torque and 590ftlbs of “nut busting” and it’s on Amazon for $180 with the battery and charger and 2 year warranty . idk about any of you but I don’t have anything on my car, truck or motorcycle or even at work (construction) that even comes close to either of those TQ numbers. So If you aren’t an actual Diesel mechanic or work with heavy steel buildings or steel framing I don’t see the need for a Dewalt or Milwaukee. I rather just get a durofix it’s not as well known but it’s a lot cheaper and if you need to replace it, it’s half the price. Just my opinion and felt like everyone should know about that durofix tool line .

This is a terrrrrrible video. If you dont know anything about these things, DO NOT WATCH… you are better off knowing nothing than this nonsense… Comparing low torques to mid torques and high torques… and even a 12v??? is almost like comparing 4 different tools, which is better?…. Its like the just grabbed a small and VERY random selection. …and your favorite dewalt 3/8 one is their oldest and lowest end model… and brushed?! …and geez, that Mikita might be the worse one on the list and its your fav? When you start, you started with the Milwaukee mid-torque model… then the dewalt high-torque and say “this one is sooo much heavier” well, duh, it has to be to be in the high-torque class… why didnt you compare the Milwaukee mid-torque the the dewalt mid-torque? None of this makes any sense…. Sorry, but not sorry. Lol. Should have just did a comparison of all the mid torque’s if this is for DIYers as stated. And dude, the place where you put the battery on the tool is not a “charger” lmafo And. Not a “chuck”, but an “anvil” .. and the Bosch Freak has a design flaw. If you want to get full power out of it you need to sick a broken off 1/4” bit before putting the socket on. Torque Test Channel did a whole experiment with it… “smooth” would not be a word I would use to describe it.
