Doc is definitely deserving of A tier. He’s so good Shamans run Greedy Partner in the hopes to coin him out even earlier after hard mulliganing for him.

Yeah but it was just ok in wild Reno shaman and post nerfs they’ve been cutting the card anyways

I think Kazakus has to be on here, maybe not as much now but it's crafting mechanic was really cool at the time and it still can help out with good rolls on any board. Turning minions into sheep is really satisfying too!

Tbh i would love if they updated/buffed some of his options. Like i still can't believe that adding demons to the hand is a thing, when every control deck has a problem with handspace, who would want garbage in it. Freezing minions was weak as well.

@@nemanjastikic1367 well I ran him in Warlock back when and sometimes getting the extra demons paid off, but mostly it was sheep, gain armour, board clear and resummon. Giving minions health and the demons was more situational. Dealing damage is kinda in the middle, great to build up to a finish and sometimes to kill a minion that you couldn't guarantee you'd sheep. I'd like to see him again one day too, maybe a craftable minion or something.

@@FRAAANKYSUUUPER the only good options were armor, sheep, clear, face damage. Rest was garbage for very unique situations and that was even back that, now i am even wondering should i cut him from my priest deck, because he doesn't offer me anything that i don't already have. Before i needed sheep for big jades and demonds that keeps getting resummoned. Now i have new Reno and Psy Scream. The only situation he was barely usable for me is to get 1 mana cost spell that would later on be fodder for my Spawn of Shadows. While in other cases he would clog my hand in late game. Even though controls don't care that much about stats, he is also big loss of tempo and against aggro deck that is big problem, because they gave him garbage stats.

Kazakus just gets worse with ever expansion though. I played one the other day and took the 5 mana spell and it just felt extremely underwhelming. Like i feel like some normal 5 mana cards are just better than the spell i got

Zephrys is def the GOAT, whenever you need a flare to nuke an ice block for lethal you can always rely on Daddy Zeph to find you a clutch lightning bolt

Dq alex and mage reno were such fun cards

Raza should be #2 and reno #1 they were so good in their time (or is the list based off their current strength?)

Raza should be above reno at this point, it and anduin were class defining while reno hasn't been good enough to justify highlander since like knights of the frozen thrones

A patch they did a while ago legitimately broke his AI. (You can see videos where he misses easy lethals and shit now).Very sad such a cool card.

Not at all the card is still insane. Like drawing zeph just means you get to win board 9/10 times. He can even get you hungry crab for amalgam of the deep or weapon removal. The card is ludicrously flexible and they’re all good options

Zeph doesn't only help you play to the board, he is also a board clear, or spot removal, or weapon removal, or lethal. It's actually insane how flexible he is.

I was waiting for Kazakus the whole time. He’s my favorite hearthstone card ever. So flexible and fun.

Zephrys is great, but i will never get over how one patch just ruined his system for picking the right card, and they just never fixed it Now he will sometimes not give you painfully obvious cards or just straight up miss lethal

​@@firedrake110Yeah. The solo adventures was my favourite part about hearthstone since you can play and earn card packs instead of purchasing card packs to even play the game.

Reno hero is so ludicrous. Any board based deck has a hard timer to win by turn 8 or they lose guaranteed

Kazakus was fun too

The only problem i have when I try to play a highlander deck its like im ony going up against plaque death Knight every single time and that negates all the good things about the highlander decks

I think DinoTamer should be a tier lower because the other cards above him unironically saw a lot of play in non Highlander decks and old Reno should be in S too because he literally created the archetype when he was the only Highlander card to exist.

Kazakus actually feels pretty mid these days, he is no longer a win condition, but a board clear+value at best, all the classes have plenty of that. Dinotamer is a bigger threat

@@beardyjesus4591yeah but back in the day Kaz was an absolute house. I haven’t played HS in a hot minute but you can’t tell me that Dinotamer Brann is better in the modern (wild) metagame than Kaz is as far as overall career stats go. I/E how good they were at their peak + current relevance.

Rhaestraza is a bit slow. Alexstrasa gave an immediate board advantage (especially before the nerf) and could be bounced to repeat the effect, plus its neutral.

I want them to add all the highlander cards back to standard. The meta would be soooo peak.

New Reno is better than Zephrys lets be real. At 8 mana, a 1 sided board wipe and next turn restriction on rebuilding thay board and upgrading a hero power in one crad is to strong. The peak example of hearthstone power creep.

@Syleion Reno can turn a game that is a 100% imminent loss into a win on a fairly regular basis. It is almost always a 5 for 1 to a 7 for 1 that also limits their board rebuilding and gives you a powerful heor power. That is much more valuable and impactful that helps you tempo or gives a card that might gives you lethal a few turn or two early in a game you are already ahead. They aren't close in the value they generate.

I think new Reno doesn't deserve a nerf, it's strong but the highlinder archetype has always been and the restriction balance that.
