I watched one random video of an octopus doing a maze and I keep getting recommended animals doing mazes now and Im not even mad. So entertaining to watch and I realized I was just smiling watching these little guys do this maze! So cute! To watch them dig in the sand and Popcorn had beef with that sawblade.

for a creature with such a limited life span, this is definitely the adventure of a lifetime for the little guy :D

Hamster playdates should be a thing. Imagine the chaos, but it would be adorable chaos!

The *only* thing that could possibly make this better would be dramatic narration. Otherwise, this is absolutely fantastic and charming as hell!

This honestly seems so brain enriching and completely hamster brain safe. Like a fun cute puzzle that has sensory rewards like the little blue foam balls and the sand and not to mention the grand prize of treats at the end. So adorable, this was so nice to watch.

@@ip1261 as much as I agree the statement that the severe domestication of animals is shameful. This hamster is a product of over a hundred years of domestication. These hamsters would have few devices to actually survive in the wild (for one their coat being so visible to predators). This type of hamster is just like this now. If you were to own a hamster you will never be able to provide the type of enrichment the wild has. So do i think this is in fact enriching, yes. Its better than the hamster living always in a cage with little to no enrichment.

By far one of the most entertaining things I've seen!!! 😄 Lucky hamsters to have an owner who would craft such amazing Mindcraft mazes to keep them sharp and agile!!!

This was like a mix of 007 and indiana Jones. I watched this with my cat She was captivated. I liked when the first hamster completed the course getting his face all clean for that big hunk of cheese. I love how creative you are. I was having fun guessing the everyday items you used throughout the obstacle course. Way to recycle reduce and reuse.😹

This is wonderful enrichment for a rodent, and a gorgeously designed enclosure.

I have spend 25 min of my life watching the hamster version of Takeshi ´s Castle. LOL.

Like many rodents, hamsters are driven to explore, because their food sources aren't constant and are distributed over large (compared to the size of a hamster, anyway) areas. You can sometimes observe a kind of rubber-band effect with them where their drive to roam and their need to stay close to a burrow entrance for safety come into conflict.

I always did like Super Mario, but now I really love Super Popcorn and Super Sunny! LOL! What sweet smart little creatures.

Candy,Popcorn and Sunny is so cute!

All that these obstacle courses need is some plotline story.

My hamster of the time would instantly have demolished these wimpy cardboard walls. Heck, he stripped over a yard of plastic cover off the fully plugged in electric multi-plug socket and survived. He took apart ANYTHING we gave him. His cage had to be of reinforced plexiglass because a wire cage would be stripped of its plastic wire covers within a week, and after two weeks one or two wires would have been chewed through getting him out again. Alcatraz would have been child's play for him. Not that he didn't reappear again, no worries. We always found him again. We just had to rattle his favorite snack bag once somewhere in the room. It usually took less than a minute if he was awake for him to reappear. But kudos for the amazing effort in creating these mazes for your hamsters.

I love how hamsters always tend to eat saws😂😂

The award for best pet parent goes to these guys for sure!!!

Hamsters, and animals in general, are far more intelligent that humans give them credit for.

Hamsters are almost exclusively owned by children because of how easy they are to handle, cheap, and just a great first pet for teaching how to properly care for animals and the responsibility.

Ive seen things where people try the same thing for views and ignore the hamster's wellbeing, but this is a really good example of a *safe* , fun obstacle course, thats fun for us to watch and an interesting toy for the hamster to interact with! Hamsters are alive, and theres no excuse for some people since its not exactly impossible to make one and not consider all sorts of priorities like the hamster's safety. Nice!

I often see hamsters stuffed in a tiny cage with nothing or maybe a wheel. These hamsters must be in hamster heaven they're so lucky to have an owner to create such mazes for them. And it looks like all the effort benefits both the hamster and the owner in many ways.

@@tacos5682 Some of the time, leaving the maze involved falling, like at 14:45. They would prefer the maze over the fall. Other times, like when the maze was horizontal and the hamster chose not to climb over the walls, the did so because of a trail they could smell. The pineapple reward at the end was probably rubbed on the path they were supposed to follow. They are following the smell.

I love how they switch hamsters in the middle, it gives each less stress. Also, the hamsters keep going because the person can put a oil smell thing, which makes them follow it :)

Hamsters in the wild are foragers. They're driven to explore and seek out new paths. You don't really need much to encourage one to run a maze...although some kind of reward at the end is probably appreciated :D.
