What about inside and outside corners, how do you make them meet up perfectly?

you have to mitre them on a 45 degree angle. it can be kinda tricky but it isnt that hard after you do it a few times

I've used an earlier very similar design from Amerimax that worked well for me on Long Island NY but didn't have the 1/16" hook in the vinyl that by design catches the inner edge of aluminum inside the gutter's front edge. It's such a secure attachment that it doesn't seem to allow removal. I've checked out a sample 3' section on a length of K style 5" gutter. Have you found a way to remove a section or more of the new design you're installing in the vid, once they're hooked onto the back of the gutter's edge? Amerimax could not provide an answer. Maybe you've found a method.

Yeah. I just use a small prybar or standard screwdriver and get it started with that then they come off. They are kinda tricky to get off

Thanks for your response. Now I know what to expect when it’s time to clean the gutter of the debris that collects over a period of time. I went about 10 years without touching them except for a couple of inside corners that I kept after yearly. At that point there was about an inch of organic material from a number of trees surrounding the house. During a stretch of dry weather, it was easy to remove. These guards do a pretty good job overall.

The only thing you skipped is , at that 5 inch line you need to bend the plastic to the pinch of the roof.

on this pitch it isnt necessary... on a steeper roof you do need to bend

Is this gutter guard really good. I saw your video and got them installed , but i feel like the rain water is basically sliding over it and coming straight down instead of going into the gutter. Trouble spot is at the valley where the splash guard is , its literally waterfall during rain at those locations.

you may need to cut out top of gutter guard in the valley and screw some mesh on the top.

@@stayunknown997 yes. I have had similiar complaints as you but every house is different and when it rains really hard some water will go over the top but that is better that a fully clogged gutter
