Just adding a reminder that at some point smgs will have their accuracy nerfed, except the pp19 and mp5. So whenever that happens, watch as the vector disappears and mp5 becomes the new "OP" smg. Honestly they could just Nerf the vectors damage down to like 20 and that might solve the problem.

Allow me to suggest the 5th group of Vector people: those who refuse to use the Vector out of sheer stubbornness and moral obligation.

As other people have mentioned, actually think the MP5 is much better than the vector overall, much more versatile and probably actually more overpowered because of that. And I haven't had the chance to use it but from what I've seen the P90 is even better than both due to its non SMG headshot multiplier.

@sebittyseb4481 I disagree, as someone who has almost 400 kills with the vector I think the MP5 is definitely better overall, it's much more accurate imo, has a much stronger damage profile and still maintains a respectable 800 rpm. It gives you a midrange ability that makes the pp19 so good but with substantially more damage. I'm not saying the vector is bad, and it's prolly the best gun alongside the fal for cqc, I just think the mp5 has more versatility making it a better overall gun.

The SMG and pistol headshot multiplier is a problem on it's own. It basically makes headshots worthless while using either.

@@StriderPF its funny because a few days ago I had the exact same amount of kills on it because i got bored, but I started using it these past couple days and im on 940 now

I think an option to stop so many medics is on other classes you would have a throwable option of a stim. It could give you a small speed boost, and temporarily filling your health back up. Bleed statuses would block the option to stim, or you’d only receive the speed boost while the bleed negates the healing. I think it’d fair to get 1 or 2 in place of a flash, smoke, or grenade. It feels easier to balance by making it a throwable so you lose other options if you want to heal as an engineer etc..

I stopped using the sg550 when I found out that putting on a flash hider gives it more recoil than the M4 and ak-74. I switched to the AK-74 as my primary rifle when I learned that it had Superior attachment recoil then the M4 does, like bro that fast mag has no downside! Not having horizontal recoil is such a blessing, I use one of those 556 Barrel attachments and a vertical grip and I have virtually no problem putting five rounds into an enemy at 100 m on full auto. It's cracked. Meanwhile the 550 just dances left and right of the guy you're trying to shoot at. Sure you're reloading faster but you'll be able to take out fewer guys with it cuz you're missing so much

The main reason to run the sg550 is for going aggressive, going for outplays, and needing the reload speed, but still having a jack of all trades weapon that also has 2 extra mags. In the end though its really about play style and map layout that determines whats good to prioritize.

honestly the sg550's recoil made me think some of the numbers are bugged... it does not feel like it has 1.5-2x the horizontal recoil of m4/ak. something's weird with that.

@@f_i_z I don't think the numbers are bugged. Part of it is that higher fire rate weapons are going through the left/right recoil coinflip faster, which is going to have a more balanced distribution and making it feel smoother. This is what is happening with the vector. The other part might be that its not a straight forward coinflip, but an 'entropy' algorithm where each consecutive kick in one direction increases the chance to kick the opposite way till its 100%. Like maybe after 3 left kicks the chance to kick right is 100% on the next shot.

@@arcc4 it feels inconsistent for me. Maybe 25% of the time that is correct, other times it kicks 3 bullets one way, then 3 bullets the other way. Meanwhile I can land 5 shots consecutively with ak74, even naked Sg550 feels like a 50m gun, and at that point you might as well use smgs, while ak74 can stretch out to 120m easily

I think the scar is just better for engineer range/anti-vehicle. The DMRs are super cool, but getting 260 kills on the M110 to unlock the heavy barrel is pain. I’m currently on 150

It’s the vehicle explosion size that has so much range. I died on 90% of my c4 vs vehicle battles because they panic and back up when they see the c4. Usually in my direction.

L96 with extended mag/URK grip/Silencer/Tri scope + map knowledge = farming.

@@karmaQT It has no tangible benefit other than muzzle velocity while the silencer basically mutes the L96. People don't even realize their teammates around them are dying or where its coming from.

Still new to the game but the m4a1 is one i keep coming back to. It feels so versatile

The SG reload speed, ADS time and extra mag passive make it SO comfortable. I use supressors on it since theres no recoil. When adding all the stats its the best rifle for me as well

I love the scar h.. it hits hard as hell.. i got use to the horizontal recoil. Im gonna have to try the vector, see what the hype is about.

Like in bf4, u can go with a lot of weapons, thats the beauty. Movement and playstyle is more important than the weapon. I love the Groza and the Mp5, and my fav secondary is the Unica. For some reason i cant make dmrs viable for me....

P90 is also great it just depends on what your going for and for strictly CQC the P90 ttk isn’t the best compared to the vector but it all depends on a bunch of factors

I noticed you have E bound to bandage, what do you use for leaning?

I don't think the vector is bad but I think it's overrated. It's top tier for sure but so are the mp5, AK15, scar-H, SG550 and Groza. And the p90 and Fal probably too but I haven't even unlocked them yet. The vector is very good at close range but the other weapons I mentioned are good at close range, too and got other strengths, the vector is just good for body shots at close range. At anything longer than 30m or if you can only see your targets head it's outclassed by any of the other top tier guns.

Well, I beg to differ the m110 while it can be a heavy hitter. It can't make follow up shots at medium to long ranges especially under fire. You really need to find prone targets to properly shoot because at medium range anything will shred you and the stupid recoil will not let you make an accurate shot again. Like it happened on the video and it wont change with the unlocks. The MK14EBR and SVD while having less damage they are more maneuverable(less recoil between shots) and the Full auto(MK14EBR) just gives you a better chance of surviving even if it's slim.

i'm so glad the vector is getting the nerf soon, i got bored of the vector fast, despite it being so good haha. the mp5 is good though, very good, but i dont have the p90 yet

The vector is absolutely broken but it is worse than the p90 just less people have that so it’s not really complained about remotely as much.

I have yet to unlock the Flir for the SG. But I can confirm it is my new favorite rifle. Not too sure about the Vector being my favorite for the medic, but it is a very close second at worst. DMRs aren't really my thing, but I like them better than trying to snipe. Since I unlocked the M2 before even trying support I did see it as the optimal choice. And I leave sniping to the professionals ;)

The AK47 is such a surprise to me. So accurate, almost no recoil stock, and I can almost snipe people across the map. It reload VERY fast and I get more kills than with any other gun. I haven't unlocked the SG550 yet, but my teammate last night had an insane K/D using it. THe m249 has such a fast reload vs stupid COD's version.

took me like 2.7k kills to get "bored" from m249 because of my hate for APCs, started using engineer to hunt down APCs and Vehicles. Might go back to my roots once more lmgs get added but for now, fk APCs.

Yeah the kriss vector is good but I prefer the MP5 or the pp19 if they both have a zero recoil setup you can absolutely melt people

"no downside" realism and mil sim bros will say otherwise. For those who are unfamiliar, there's a special feature of the real life Kriss Vector that is rightfully not present in any game to my knowledge.... negative recoil. Thanks to it's proprietary recoil system it's capable of redirecting the recoil so well that it actually want's to go down when you shoot it. edit: AND USES 45. ACP. If any game wanted to faithfully represent the gun, It should share the same damage model as the UMP45 and have none to negative recoil.

You missed the 5th type of people about the vector. They don't know about it because they don't use smgs.

Kriss vector in real life literally has zero recoil due to the counterweight super V system

Almost 3K kills with the vector, but trying to compete with other vector users while using anything other than a vector and playing aggressive is near impossible, it's insanely boring but it's what works.

Definitely the 419 with long barrel compared to the SG for me

Overall no weapon is "Best" for classes, play around with certain weapons, different attatchment, see what you're comfortable with, each gun has something to offer, there is no meta in battlebit

One of the things I did early on was force myself to grind out all the attachments on the M110 and I played it with exactly this idea on the engineer. It was a struggle before the heavy barrel. So validated rn.

​@@StriderPF Add rangefinder and some practice with the RPG (I am a dirty scope RPG user) and you can challenge snipers out to 500 meters. Speaking of, maybe little known or maybe everyone knows but currently the scoped RPGs does not have any stat tracking. No one seems to mention this. I have at least 100-200 RPG kills and in "heavy gadgets" it says I have 9 because the only one there is standard HEAT. I'm not sure if it even tracks the OG-7 rounds without the scope either.

Just started using this combo because of this video and was getting board of other guns. Currently at 200 kills and can not wait for the long/heavy barrel! I am sad that with this update, DMRs are available to assault classes minus the M110 I was looking forward to that better ADS and reload speed.

I have over 1000 L96 kills, I'm not bored. the L96 is better than the vector and the m200 QED. edit: the L96 is the only sniper in the game I'm comfortable using while actually playing the objective. I will take a fight at any range with an L96.

I unlocked the mp5 a couple days ago and agree with this 100%. Eventually think p90 is the best option though but I still got a ways to go for that.

I prefer the mp5 because it has a cool classic feel and I don't feel like a scumbag. That being said, I think the vector outperforms it in every respect except accuracy.

You forgot one more category in your Vector statistic: the stubborn moron who refuses to use the Vector, although he has unlocked it 30 levels ago because he thinks it's somehow virtuous to abstain from an op weapon, so he rather acts like a victim on a hunger strike in a corrupt justice system and prefers to silently condemn every person who doesn't give an F and uses the gun anyways. (that's my by the way.. The moron is me)

I won't use it for a myriad of reasons. I mostly play support, the mp5 is superior, i play medic for heals instead of kills, it will be nerfed to the ground once the devs get to it, etc. And i audibly curse at anyone using that gun because those people should be aware of their own shame in relying on a crutch to play this game.

Lol we are in the same boat. I played one game with it and decided that it's a crutch that won't actually make me any better at the game. And yeah, I do silently judge people who use it every game when I stay in the same lobby and still get outfragged by my above average ass with the AK74.

The scorpion does compete against the vector. It has less range but it kills in 4 bullets instead of 5 and has the same firerate. Upclose NO ONE can survive a scorpion. On certain maps the vector defeats it

@@StriderPF Easy. Have it be the only class with the Airstrike Radio call ins. (i know that menu has nothing in it at the moment, but maybe it will at some point.) Like the Backpack the SL wears is clearly a Radio Pack.

@@jaywerner8415 Problem isn't that, it doesn't have the good points of either classes. Leader doesn't have aim and reload speed bonus that assault has, it also doesn't have access to sniper rifles which recon does. DMRs are sorta in a bad place in the current state of the game, you'd be better off most of the time with a sniper rifle

This absurd industry standard of requiring people put in 80-200+ hours to unlock all the weapons/gear needs to end. This is an FPS, not an RPG. Everyone should be equal and skill should be the determining factor, not how much time you have to waste to unlock the good stuff. The entire reason it exists is low effort devs not knowing how to make an addictive game, so they added in little dopamine spikes(via unlocks) to fool your brain into thinking you are having fun. It worked on all the dullard masses, so it became an industry standard, which is absurd. I have a feeling the devs of battlebit never even questioned it. They accepted it as "the way it is" and built it into the game without a second thought. Battlebit does not need this feature to be engaging. It is a solid game on it's own. If that works on you, get a grip on your brain. You are being duped. All weapons and gear should be unlocked on day one. Perhaps a shooting range "qualifying" for each gun to unlock, but that would be the only form of unlocking I would be okay with as long as it only requires you to be minimally proficient with the gun. I have several friends who would play Battlebit, but have given up because they are busy adults and they know it will take them YEARS to unlock everything and they do not want to play a game that is *as egregiously unbalanced as it can possibly be.* Everyone knows experience is the ultimate advantage. You know the game mechanics and the maps better. That is a massive advantage. Add in the most experienced players also having all the best weapons/gear, and you have the most ridiculously unbalanced and off-putting to newcomers game possible. *STOP THE INSANE IDIOCY* Unlocks in non-RPG-FPS games should be limited to rank and cosmetics.

The Vector IS probably the best gun in the game...but somehow not the most fun to use. I prefer the Groza

Yeah groza is fun and I think the vector would be more fun with a smaller mag so you actually had to be accurate

I just don't use the vector because I'm not a noob. Drop shoting with the vector is pure cancer

There is another group, people who refuse to use such an obviously broken gun like the Vector because it feels cheap and easymode. At least it is getting a bit of a nerf tomorrow.

Zero respect for vector users. Vector is nearly almost my fav weapon in a lot of games until it goes towards overused and overpowered
