Filmmaking grip gear is notoriously heavy and hard to travel with, but as run and gun documentary shooters we still want to be able to shape and control our scenes. That means we need to rethink what kinds of grip equipment we keep in our kit so we can make sure we can actually get it to the shoot when its needed. In this video I’ll get into some of the things that I bring in my kit on nearly every shoot.
