Jimmy your channel is by far the best golf channel on youtube. I've taken lessons from different instructors, wasted a shit ton of money on training aids and other shit, and saw minimal improvement with my swing. This video hands down changed my swing and my game and instilled a lot more confidence. I literally went through every club in my bag and incorporated this swing concept and hit every single club further than I ever have without trying to crush the ball. Turn it, leave it and go! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Excellent videos & instruction. Please keep on uploading them. I play lots of shots like the one you played at 24'24". I take my hat off to you for not editing it out.

I used this mindset the last two times I played. I only played 9 the first time and shot 42, today I played 18 at a championship course and shot 87. I normally start getting frustrated. Not today, I was totally unbothered by bad shots. In fact, I followed up my doubles with pars today. This is such great info for people!

As I've aged, now 68, my swing has shortened but I still hit it long. But my friends were always commenting on how short my swing has gotten. An insructor at GT kept trying to get me to make a bigger hip and shoulder turn to unleash even more power he beleived I was not taking advantage of with my short swing. Well, my back and body just don't won't allow me to take a longer swing without really straining and I'm way less consistent hitting the sweet spot. When I do, yea, I can hit it a little further. But Its just not worth it. This video and your other one on "Half Swing" made me realize I'm ok just staying with my short swing and I still hit it past all of my buddies. So thanks for reinforcing this valuable concept!! it Absolutely works. Love it.
I played golf for 16 years but I have never had any body show me this way. I started playing your style, man it was amazing how much Confidence 8:37 I gained and easily won it. Thank you so much Jimmy for showing us your technique.❤👍👏😆
I have listened to so much “instruction“ on the Internet that I’m in knots. I played baseball my whole life, including at the college level and I could immediately relate to this. I have an open acre in the back yard and started hitting 52° in my yard and started smoking’ the ball. This is the best instruction I’ve ever received and I’m 72 years old. The ball is firing off the club.

I've played golf for years. I've watched everything on KZread possible. My biggest frustration is consistency. That's my number one goal this year. I watched your videos last night. I played this morning. I kept it so simple just like you say. I shot 81 with no penalties and it was a very stress free fun round of golf. Thanks so much for the videos.

Thanks Jimmy ! Let me tell you I've been studying the golf swing for many years explained by most of the great players of the game , I took the game up when I was 28 and now I'm 65 and play and practice every chance I get since then , I remember one golf swing footage explanation that was in black and white and this man said just turn and take the club back and up as you are showing then he said now you are ready hit the ball , Just turn your body toward the target and hit the ball , And he demonstrated and it looked just like what your doing , So perfect and and powerful with balance , You are so correct in what you are now doing , Thank You for this Video , And I Think Mister Hogan would strongly Agree !

New to the channel Jimmy, love your work man.
Thanks for pointing out the cause-effect relationships between excessive movement and the golf swing. Your teaching method is organized, straightforward, AND SIMPLE. By the way, the mechanics of the hips turning to swing the club (arms) are identical to throwing a right or left hook in boxing. The hips are involved. They move the arms to generate power (without the haymaker "backswing"). Thanks to your swing demonstration I am able to see a correlation between the two.
Your videos really help me. My game has been trash for years. Its coming along now hitting a few draws and getting the ball 🏀 going forward

61 and coming back to the game after about 12 years. Always struggling with over top swing. I get so jacked over the ball and swing for the fences. I know what to do but 100’s of swing thoughts in my head don’t help. Watched the video and went out back to hit some 9 irons. This was the easiest swing thought I’ve ever used. Now just have to learn to take it to the course. thanks for the advice.
Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy! You stole my stuff! Well at least now I don’t have to start my own golf KZread Channel. I call what you’re saying many different things to help people get it. “Get to the top and hold your angles “ “Rotate your hitting unit down to the ball” “Also I tell them there is no down I the golf swing “ And for back up as I see you have a doubter or two this is what the guru Greg McHatton teaches! He calls it “hitting the ball as late in the swing as possible “!! Great Video Jimmy!!!

Funny.. doing a version of this right now! I would ADD for "me"..perhaps only me, I lose "all tension" in my arms hands and wrists. Incredible observation! The sound trigger is gold! My swing is a series of moments; the more I add, the more complex the swing becomes. This simplifies everything.
Great video Jim, your a natural. Any chance of putting shot traces on ?
Excellent insight, you have a good swing, and besides not being dialed into the speed of the greens, you probably break 80, so you are a helluva golfer. This is my first glimpse at your incredulous nature at coming upon a holy grail of a sort. I mean, my problem is over swinging, so this style of execution can; perhaps, pull my head out of my backside, so I thank you for that in advance; because I know you are sincere...well done.
I can’t wait till tomorrow to give this a go, so you’re telling me I don’t have to think about caulking my wrist. Wondering if I’m rolling my wrist wondering if I’m inside out wondering if I’m outside in wondering if I’m going to hit another big‘s slice! If this works this is awesome I can’t wait to try to groove this with a simple thought

The best tip of all is that when you are on the green relatively close to the hole, just tell yourself a 5' foot putt is only 2' or that an 8' putt is only a 5 footer. 😄

wow Jimmy, this is by far the best tip & swing thought I’ve ever saw on youtube. I play golf for a little more then 10 years now and am just in single figures but always struggled with my driver (slices). The idea of only letting your arms to help you to the top of your backswing and then their work is done, is so liberating. It becomes almost impossible to come over the top then. Thanks for these videos and greetings from Belgium 🤘

great video. Q: when you turn forward (downswing) do you "feel" like you are swinging with your right shoulder, or just turning your belt buckle to the target and not thinking at all about your shoulder/hands/club etc? also do you think about "bumping towards target" at the top of your backswing, or is the bumb forward just muscle memory at this point?
