Alister MacKenzie was born and raised in Yorkshire. And The National is at Cape Schanck rather than Schnak.

Can’t believe Metropolitan ( Melbourne) isn’t better than a number of these…I saw Seve and Greg play there.

The Vines GCC in Perth is very very good I played on visit from UK the week after Tiger Woods won a comp there, I think it was the Aus Open, are all the decent courses over the other side of Aus. Rubbish!

Well compared to other states, Victoria and Tasmania for instance probably max out majority of the top courses in Australia with a few from other states. But Victoria has at least 15 courses in the state that are out of this world and compete with some big American courses. But I guess Sydney just doesn’t have many good courses

Yes, according to our sources it does seem like Victoria and Tasmania are some of the top golfing destinations! The Melbourne Sandbelt definitely has some incredible courses worth visiting, but if you're not nearby there are plenty of options all around Australia.
