As an Essendon supporter it's really hard to go past Joey on ANZAC Day and that last one from Tippa vs the Roos (gives me chills every time), but jeez Marc Murphy's against Freo is pretty bloody special. The veteran, to win the game, and the skill to kick that while being pushed... a good goal isn't just about skill, it's often about the context and that one just has it all.

If you watch Treloar when he kicks, he jolts his head down as he makes contact, he can never see where he’s kicking, no wonder his efficiency by foot is so bad

Its a minority sport in Qld, NSW and ACT. Soccer will be the number 1 sport in Australia by 2050 and every country on Earth by 2100 utshf

@@Mitch10149 Pull your head in buddy. Sure he can pull off good highlights but he doesn't do much other than that and the stats are evidence to this. He averages only 56 fantasy points. Other forwards such as higgins and castagna are better but everyone talks about Daniel because he is a Rioli

The Brisbane goal at 11:25 is a strong case for introducing a 'Team Goal of the Year' as well as individual. Definitely one of my favourites but it would seem wrong to award GOTY to Rayner for it.

No, there we multiple goals that were better than that. Besides, If you pause it as 11:58 you can clearly see that it was out of bounds. Even the commentators said It was out of bounds during the match.
