Ahhh, yes, the very German Type 95 Ha Go

Love the Warlord Wednessday. Love the Panzer I, But I also like a big Juicy TAnk!

From a 40k point of view it funny since 9th edition you look at the Guard tank fleet its really looking like ww2 tanks fleet sentinel and hellhounds are light tanks Leman Russ are medium tanks Rogal Dorns and Malcadors are heavy tanks and the Baneblade is not super heavy but Behemoth heavy all in all great video Mordien as always FOR THE EMPEROR SIR EVER ON WORDS.

Best armoured car is Soviet BA-20 with a vehicle flamethrower...

PzII is my favorite German tank!

I have a pair of Panzer 1s I call the "Infantry erasers"

Problem in Bolt Action is that machine guns are more efficient than canons. So indeed such cheap early war tank is more interesting in your list than a powerful late war beast machine

One think i dislike about the panzer I and panzer II has nothing to do with the tanks but with warlord showing a bit of its color, they are one man turret tanks but becouse they are german they dont get the one man turret rule If they where italian of french i bet you they would have it

I asume its dont have one man turret rule because panzer I have only machine guns and commander isnt overworked like in ha-go

The ft-17 (and the italian version) the british tank in belgian use are equiped with only one machine gun and they get the one man turret rule And again the panzer II dont have it It isnt even only the germans the british matilda I also dont have it@@BattleDragon88

While I like Bolt Action in general this is always a sticking point for me that the best tanks are not really tanks. Bolt Action is primarily an infantry game but I do wish the heavier tanks got a bit of a points break. That being said the panzer 1 is incredibly good when paired with the puma. Absolutely melts infantry blobs I see with Japan and Russia.

Regarding armored cars, what do you think of the Panhard 178? Would it be as good as the 6 or 8 rad?

What about dutch CTLS with 3mmgs at 80pts? Also @Mordian, when Type 3 Amphibious Tank video?

So I saw a couple of starter kit reviews you did and they raise the same issue as you do here. You compare late war units against early war units and rate the late war units as better because they have more. Which is weird because why wouldn't an early war unit field a PAK40 or Panzer Faust's? It's not like historically they didn't exist in 1939. Oh wait. So as a new starter, what I want to know is, do people game separate periods of the war with period relevant kit or is it a free for all and why would you ever use early war stuff in that case. As for the little Pzr1a, you take up a powerful vehicle slot with a krispy kream donut? If you were playing period relevant battles, anything with a 20mm gun would ventilate it. A/T rifles would ventilate it. Any 2pdr armed vehicle would ventilate it and the 2pdr OQF A/T gun that was standard issue to the BEF, even the Vickers Mk VIc would present a serious threat. As for gaming, the best answer to that would be a Grant tank. The 37mm gun would take care of the Pzr and the 75mm gun would annihilate A/T guns or infantry. (The two did occupy the same battle space in the desert.) Ironically, this little bugger and the Mk II made up 80% of the force that swept through Poland and the Ardennes. The big cats of late war would never have been able to do what these did.

Ugh... at the risk of being called a rivet counter.. PZ1 would have been moth-balled by the time the pzrfaust came about... other comments about infantry vs armor miss the point. play periods... early war - 39-42, 42-43, 44-45. As much as FoW got wrong, they solved this particular problem quite well.

The problem with flames of war IMHO is that is extremelly tank centered Most battle reps in youtube have more tanks than infantry miniatures not bases miniatures

They were still technically in service, usually refitted to perform a different battlefield roll. Similar to the 38T's being converted into Hetzer tank destroyers.
