Hello Lee, I am afraid that breakfast caters for the average Brit in Benidorm. For catering sausage read John Smiths smooth, for proper butchers sausage read Ale from the cask.

Too expensive just for a standard breakfast😔

9€ no way also where do they get 4€ for a coffee

needs three more hash browns for sure! BCL Club spa did a good brekkie when we stayed there, they'd serve little round hash browns on the buffet and they were fab, nice fresh cooked back bacon on the grill station too.

Hello Lee my experience of spanish breakfasts are the same always tricky, bacon is pretty standard and i like it slightly crispy and sausages are nearly always bland cash and carry type. With eggs even at home i tend to ask for scrambled or even poached. Fair marking.

If somewhere offers fried bread. You should go for it. Hash browns are just taking over. If I could eat fried bread I would have it over hash browns. Fried bread = proper proper full English

Would of given it a 7 but the price was a bit heavy, I'm staying in your hotel in 4 weeks, glad you said it was sound. Great vlog as always. 👌

Hey Lee! All I can say is yuk! If that’s the what most have said they could come up with the best Full English in Benidorm! Dried up beans, hash brown pale hardly cooked, bacon and sausages didn’t look up to the mark. Mushroom didn’t look appetising at all. I’ll agree with others on here. Looks like a terrible “Spoons” replica. Love the waves filming again. Beautiful beach really is. Take care 😘👍🏻

In Tenerife currently, so not watched any of your Benidorm shenanigans as yet. Gives me something to look forward to when I get back to the cold and the snow at least.

Excellent video 🎉. Any fry up breakfast 🍳 under a tenner works fine with me. Always wondered are those hotel toasters available for domestic use /purchase ?!? Lol

I thought it was a bit pricey to be honest and where were the tomatoes? I will give it a 5.9.

I've had breakfast here myself. Very expensive when you consider none of the ingredients are premium. Just a bog standard breakfast for almost double the price of other places. Great location though

Good that you were willing to give the place a try Lee. I rated it higher than that, but have not had a breakfast there. I have rated their Sunday Roasts at The Dining Room next door very high and lot on Tripadvisor agree with me. Certainly the location is better than Sherrys, and most probably the service.

Hi. I agree €9 is quite expensive. Best breakfast I have ever had in Benidorm was at a Celtic bar just off Levante beach. Think it's moved now. The sausages there were fab and I think proper Irish.

Lee, I'd say you'd enjoy the food in Germany. Proper old school grub in old school gastropubs, lovely beer too. The meat and sausages there are lovely

Yes I ate there as people told me to go there too, I gave it a 6.5, I think you struggle finding anywhere in Benidorm for a really good full English, they are all very average and like you say cant get a proper sausage anywhere. Mercadona has fresh meat counter and does some nice ones we cooked up. Great video :)

The best full English breakfast in benidorm is at the wookey hollow near the alpha apartments. Second best is the Yorkshire pride near the marina hotel. Love your vids .

Lee, with your back to the fountain in Dove Square, (directly opposite across the road) is our apartment for December & January

Was in Benidorm last week and 9 euro for a breakfast is expensive considering how small it was , I won’t be refuelling myself in there 😁

Hi lee. Small tip when at hotel breakfast and getting your toast. We nick the corner of our bread so you know its yours.

Hi Lee, try Alibaba kebab / Indian across from flamingo oasis hotel. If it still open that is. Very popular with the people living over there but a really nice kebab after a few beers. You can sit in or takeaway. He knows me as Woody but not seen him for a while as I been going canaries for more sunshine. Ali is such a lovely guy and his family’

Best breakfast in Benidorm by a mile, Sinatras Av.Dr Severo Ochoa, between the beach and El Raco.

Lee, you have had some pretty poor meals recently, try the Wok Buffet Mandarin especially if you like prawns, its always a treat for me when in Benidorm.

I do love watching a seaside town wake up first thing!

The corner bar in the rincon area does a nice breakfast and a Spanish place one just passed it on the same side.

Looking at the egg and the cheap sausages a generous 5/10. For that price I’d expect something a lot better than that.

I looked at the plate and though you ordered the diet coke of breakfasts. The egg looked fine to me but was tiny. It was just big plate with not a lot on it. 2 tablespoons of beans etc etc. It seems positively cheap though when if cost you half as much again for a posh coffee. When I lived in the UK, I only went to Faro once. Never got to Spain. I think when you go to another country the old saying When in Rome applies.

Just the right size breakfast for me I give it a 7 if v. The v deserts are welcoming for a breakfast as well. The view is lovely,think your paying for the view.....

Lee another lovely day in Benidorm , I totally agree we stayed in the premier inn and they had that type of toaster waited like forever. Well Lee looks lovely but looks like a normal breakfast egg looks undercooked for my liking just a shame they don’t give a plate for toast. Price a bit pricey for a small breakfast.5/10

I went with an even-more generous 7/10, before I heard your score. I'm being extra generous here because you're not back home, and can't expect the same quality ingredients like you can back home (even if it's Benedorm, and there's no shortage of expats). Meal was too expensive. A 'Spoons plate, at even steeper prices, and a lower cost of living. No tomatoes, small portions, and toast not on separate plate. The coffee looked very good, and sea-side surroundings a positive (as well as the service, from what you say). As always, cheers for the honest review. Always better to be honest, than to give everything 9s and 10s, and not paint a truthful picture for the would-be punter. 👍

When I saw the egg, I immediately knew that it was not cooked to perfection.

Definitely didn't look worth 9 euros , I thought the beans looked a bit anemic, I thought the latte was a bit pricey also , I'd give it a 5 just because of location

Enjoyed the video, we need some anti 'standard catering sausage' merch. If Lee had to make the choice between having to drive an electric vehicle for ever or only eating standard catering sausages for the rest of his life I wonder which he'd choose?

Works cannot start. Before 8am and cannot work on fiestas ( normally to they have to stop in the peak holiday season)

Just looked like a standard average Spanish full English what you could have got elsewhere for half the price. Enjoyed the veiws though.

not been the same for last 4 years ,l had my winter break in benidorm every year for six weeks ,had breakfast most mornings there but no longer, had to send my last breakfast back it was that bad. cherrys bar for breakfast now and its good and half the price. l think you marked it right with 6.8

Definitely not half the price in sherry’s bar. A breckie in there is €7.75 for 2 bacon 2 sausages toast etc. And there is no Mushroom no Black pudding and no Hash Brown for your €7.75

I stayed in a hotel virtually infront of that place didn't use it once for any meal, take from that what you will, and I spend 2 holidays a year in Benidorm with the wife!!!

They can't all be great and its fair of you not to slag them down to the ground,its a snapshot after all , keep em coming all very enjoyable, your mate Geoff and you make a great double act!

Hey Mac, being from the UK 🇬🇧 you might have heard of Bog Butter, It's butter that was made 4000 years ago and put in a bog. People who harvest peat bog have found these balls of ancient butter, and some chefs create dishes with this ancient butter in them. Have you ever thought about doing a review of this EXTREMLY UNIQUE butter in a dish. That would be awesome.

the portion size was awful for the price and it looked like left overs from yest reheated , i would of rated it a 3

The bacon and sausage had a lovely brown colour but I agree with you about the eggs. I'd say a 6.8 is fair to me, Lee.

Looked a decent breakfast in fairness , so use to paying top dollar for everything in Ireland these days that looked good to me and toast and tea included for €9 that is good

At €9 I would expect 2 slices of toast 🙈 I think you can get a good breakfast for half that price. I would rate it a 5/10. Latte looked nice though but still wouldn't pay €14

The Latte looked the best thing about that, Beans looked cheap, catering sausages (spoons) yuk & undercooked egg think you were very generous with 6.8.

Better to be honest then kind coffee looked nice otherwise 3 is honestly all I would rate

Since Refuel bought the bar next door and opened it as an upmarket restaurant their menu prices have increased to compensate for the renovation costs.

€10 for a jacket potato with tuna? Behave! The breakfast looked a solid 6/10, no more.

uncle Ron's for us any day. Full English for 2 and a pint each to start the day for about £10, always fresh and hot food.
